I'm not sure what other people's thoughts are on this, but putting an AMD processor in a $1200 computer might actually limit your design. Might I ask, if you plan on overclocking your build or not?

Also, you should be using dual channel RAM.
With a high end build you should be considering a solid-state drive (for faster boot speeds) as well as a modular PSU (for cable management)

RAM you might want to consider either the 1600 version: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231445
    or the 1866 version: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231455

    Both are the same price.

Cases: I personally prefer Fractal Design cases (the R4 is ~$10 more) It comes in Dark Grey, Light Grey, or White. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352022 If I remember correctly, many others also recommended the 300R?

PSU: Again, consider modular. I have a non-modular PSU and have been kicking myself in the ass about it for years now (it's just so ratty/unorganized).

Coolers: This is depending on your choice of overclocking or not. If you don't plan on overclocking, then you really do not need one.

OS: I personally prefer Windows 7 (and I run both ultimate and home), although people are starting to grow on 8.1 from what I understand. You might also consider picking up a key from this website and torrent the actual OS so you can install.

    OS which is best?
Good CPU or should i go with i7?
Will i need anything extra that's not on the list (Cords+Cables?)
Do i need a really good fan for this build? does it matter?

    1. If you're familiar with Linux i'd use that as my OS otherwise just use windows 7.

    2. The AMD FX lines are great CPU's but if you can afford an i7 i'd purchase one.

    3. Zipties if not purchasing a modular PSU. (make sure you have sufficient sata cables, i can't tell you how many times i forgot to make sure i had enough and had to go purchase extras)

    4. Yes you need a good fan, ALWAYS buy a good cpu fan. The hyper TX3 is a great CPU fan. Also purchase case fans just to optimize air flow. Maybe consider water cooling? It's cheap nowadays.

Your build looks fine to me besides the points that john doe already pointed out.

A few things just to point out, with the case you chose MAKE SURE it's large enough to fit your GPU which is quite large.

I would also suggest a modular PSU just for cleanliness. When it comes to PSU's the brand is key in my opinion. Never spend money on a no name generic brand when it comes to your PSU.

I'd suggest one of these two modular psu's
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256065
    or
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139012

Also. Please invest in an SSD. it will boost your speeds tremendously, Buy a small 60gb one and load windows off of it and use your HDD as a storage slave drive.

The only bottlenecks i see in your future is the lack of dual channel ram (why not get 2x8 for $110?) and lack of an SSD in your build.

and not to scare you but i've had to RMA 6 gigabyte motherboards in the last year.... I suggest investing in an Asus motherboard.

You can go down to an i5-4670K. The i7 won't really help gaming performance at all. With the money saved you can buy a aftermarket heatsink which would be quieter and cooler. The motherboard is good.

Also, you might want to change the 780 vendor. I don't think Gigabyte uses a custom PCB. Something like an ASUS 780 has a custom PCB which allows for higher overclocks, better power usage, etc.

Excellent points TBT! Didn't even think about those! :) Although with new games like Watch Dogs coming out (min spec of quad core), don't you think an i7 will lock in a little more efficiently with the hyperthreading?

Thanks i wasn't even really planning on overclocking (Don't really understand how, plus so many choices when it comes to fans when you do overclock) Anything else you would change?Should i consider overclocking if i'd want to play games like farcry 3 etc?what fans would you reccomend

    This one?

Hyper 212's are really nice, but do tend to get kind of loud. Just a heads up. :)

You can't stream on those speeds at all. You do have to switch out the PSU to a minimum of 600W (per GPU specs). I believe I told you that though. And again, SSD: Have you chosen one out?

Before you buy a new PC.. you definitely need to invest in a better ISP you wont be able to stream even the lowest settings with your current Down\Up speeds.

skateman brought up a point that i didn't even look into, the minimum running requirement for the 780 is 600w. You definitely need to get a 750w+ for some overhead.

My EVO 212 CPU Fan is incredibly quite so i think its fine.

If your going just for gaming the i5 4670 is more than enough and is very cost effective, if you want future proofing i'd purchase the i7 if you have the extra money to splurge.

Besides not having an SSD and the above points, your build is perfectly fine.

edit: please make sure the case you choose fits your GPU.

Also something you should take note of, "lets suppose you have a 500 W power supply, a system that pulls 250 W at full load, and is on 8 hour a day running at full load all the time(unrealistic but makes for much easier math), that puts your PSU at 50% load so its going to be at peak efficiency.
Power drawn from the wall with each PSU:
    Basic - 312.5 W
    Bronze - 304.9 W
    Silver - 294.1 W
    Gold - 277.8 W
    Platinum - 271.7 W"

So, depending on how long you're going to be running your PC for the day i'd suggest getting one of the higher rated PSU's

on that note, since you'll be streaming and probably for 6+ hours per day i'd buy this one; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...3r-_-Power+Supplies-_-SeaSonic+USA-_-17151087

seasonic in my opinion makes the best PSU's.

edit2: the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti does have custom PCB's.

You need to find out the upload speeds for those plans.

You need a minimum of 3Mbps to stream 720p on twitch. That 30Mbps is probably download speed which is irrelevant.

A simple google search "ISPS provided in my area" Should help find whats being offered.

Maybe call your ISP and see if they have higher tier speeds.

Erm... I hope you mean 3Mbps on the "boosted" viewers. (ie: SpeedTest/PingTest). You should need only ~1Mbps on the true internet testers (testmy.net). If I remember correctly of course.

No idea honestly, twitch support forums just says 3Mbps upload speed for 720p.

Edit: Banshee that Charter service should be sufficient.

If you're smart you don't need an antivirus... if you're worried i'd download avast, it's light weight and powerful.

    malwarebytes is also great.
