Need help 1 def,1 pray horror from the deep

im currently 1 def and pray 60 atack and 55 str. i have dragon scimitar and 43 range 19 magic. i was wondering if someone could post a method of doing the quest. and some tips.E.g. can i use cannon while fighting the mother ect.

 

If I were you I'd HIGHLY recommend getting at least 35 mage, so you can use all 4 elemental bolt spells, they will really speed up the battle alot.

The Dagannoth Mother has colours which allows only certain types of attacks that will kill it.

Orange = Melee
Green = Range/Special Attacks
Red = Fire Spells
Brown = Earth Spells
Blue = Water Spells
White = Air Spells

I've done it without prayer before on my old pure.

Doesn't the quest give you prayer experience when you beat it anyway? If not, then i'll do it again on my new pure and tell you how i did it.

 

I think it doesnt give prayer xp, not sure though... i think it gives like range and some other xp ;D and i've done it on a 1 def 1 pray under 50 mage too, had one monkfish left but thats because i screwed up lots of times... there might still be a kind-of safe spot but not sure if still is there
