Making: Def pure with Rune Plate!

Hello everyone! I was thinking one day, and thought that it would be cool to have a defense pure with a rune plate!

But, I need some tips. If anyone knows how to beat dragon slayer at a low level, please let me know.

I know that I could use a canon, poision, recoil, but I'm to cheap to buy mems >.< Is there a way I could do this f2p?

In f2p, Its not possible to have pure defence. The quests needed to start DS will give you attack + strength exp.

 

Plus the quest gets you 30atk 30str from level 1.

Unless your account gets rolled back, which is rare.

You will be a level 17 with rune chain or level 13 if you have 10 HP

 

You're going to end up getting Attack and Strength levels by doing dragon slayer, so it's pretty much a no-go unless you want 30 attack and strength. The closest thing I could suggest is Rock-shell which basically has the same stats as rune and requires you to do The Freminik Trials which also gets you attack and strength exp, but less of it. Other than that, I would say to just use granite and get a little higher defense.

 

Ahh, so its nearly impossible to complete dragon slayer in f2p?

I dont mind the strength exp, because if I happen to get to 99 defense, the 30 str wont affect my combat level.

 

DS gives you attack and strength xp. I would just get rune chain or dragon/bandos armor later.

 

I think getting your strength to 30 would effect your combat level lol

 

Dragon Slayer gives You Strength and Defence xp -.- it doesn't give attack, everyone seems to think it gives attack and strength exp, and just use a sacred clay platebody it requires no quests, its lightweight and its the same stats or you can always get a fighter torso

 

Ah alright, well I made my decision.

Im going to get 65 def, turn mems, and use tassys+csp! ^-^

 

Train def with monsters, don't be another SW prod

 

Yeah, it's pretty much impossible to be a defense puree with a rune plate, get 60 defense or 65 defense and wear Dragon/Bandos, if you finish DSlayer it'll get your atk/str levels up considerably.

 

If I train my defense via monsters, how high will my hp be at 65 defense roughly?

 

Well my def pure is 70 defence 65 hitpoints and I can PK and stuff

 

Go with rune chain, or get members for dragon or bandos

 

This would be a waste of time..

 

I do not think that it would be a waste of time, eventually, I am going to turn into a summoning tank, and would love to pk with it.

You should listen to people's advice. Drop your idea in my opinion, unless you're willing to settle on Bandos/Dragon. If you go through this, you're going to regret it later.
