The Ultimate RiD user Guide


Hi i’m Voids and this is the ultimate RiD newbie guide. It will take you through registering, to downloading the bot and learning how to minimize it, to setting up the correct graphic settings and successfully botting your account. As well as many facts in between hopefully introducing you to some of the leading members of the community and should enable you to feel welcome around the RiD forums.

Step 1 – How to register

Registering is your first step in your path to a 99 skill via RiD. So to register click this link

The form is relatively simple - But here’s an explanation.

Username – Choose a username that you will enjoy representing you on the forums, and will not in anyway compromise the safety of your RS account. I found choosing a username that I had not used before worked well as it created a new botting identity.

Password – Choose a password you are likely to remember as everyone knows forgetting your password is a pain in the arse!

Email – Use an Email address that you use regularly as it will be used to inform you of the many competitions that occur on the forum, as well as announcements about the new bots and other vital bits of information.

Referred by - This can be someone who has told you about RiD or someone who as inspired you to join the site. It will give them 10% of the credit you purchase for free, and can be used to thank people that have helped you on your botting quest. I’ve heard “Voids” is a good user to put in this box...

You have now registered to the site . Congratulations step 1 complete.

Step 2 - Know your way around the site

I know the temptation here is to download the bots straight away “ I wanna BOT FFS” however, a quick browse around the forums will enable you to access the help and knowledge you need without having to spend hours searching or asking for it. There are a few main parts of the site that will aid you in your botting conquest.

Each user is assigned a unique code for all bots upon registering this means that your bot is not the same as a conventional script, as the bot is completely unique for each user. This is one part of RiDs undetectability. This truely is YOUR robot.

Support



This is one of the most important parts to the site as it is your first stage of help when something goes wrong with the bots.




Your first port of call is the Knowledgebase, before you carry on this guide you should look round this for all the interesting topics other users have created for the benefit of new and old users alike.

Now before you buy a bot, you might want to get a review, ask a question, or just simply discuss the bot. The Pre-sales Questions section is designed specifically for this.

Help me! So you’ve read the knowledge base, tried to figure out your problem, but it’s just not working, this section is full of help me! style questions and there solutions, see if your question is answered in this section, if not post and see if another member can help you.

Helpdesk - If your bot is still not working this is where you will create a support ticket and one of the moderators will look into your matters deeper , if not RiD himself.

There are many other general discussions about the forums, but these are the key areas in getting you started.


If you use a Mac You MUST go to step 4 & Complete it


Step 3 - Download your bot

Now you know your way around the site the next part should be easy.

1.) Go to the My robot section


2.) Choose the bot you want on the Left hand Side
3.) Press download
4.) Find the .Rar file in your download folder.


Your bot will be in a .Rar file. If you have never seen a file like this go to.

If you have a 32bit Operating system - http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar393.exe
If you have a 64bit Operating system - http://www.rarlab.com/rar/winrar-x64-393.exe

This bit of software is completely free of any viruses and malware and will not cost you a penny.

If you go to your download folder it should now look like this.


Right click the magic file and click extract files



Choose your desktop



You should now have a file on your Desktop called Magic (or whichever bot you downloaded)
Once you enter this folder open up the bot and login .

Congratulations, you have successfully downloaded your bot!

Step 4 - Minimizing your bot

Many people like to use there computer / laptop whilst they are botting, however RiD bots take over the control of your mouse, rather than using their own client so Darksoul has created a guide to Minimize your robot, follow the link below and once you have set it up, please proceed to step 5.

If you do not wish to run a virtual machine, then proceed immediately to step 5

Step 5 - Setting your priorities & Graphics

These are 2 of the most important steps in making sure the bot runs correctly and smoothly.

Make sure you read this thoroughly!

Step 6 - Starting your bot

Once you have completed up all the step below you are ready to try out the best bots on the internet.

1.)Go to your desktop
2.)Open your bot folder
3.)Open your bot
4.)Open RS
5.)Set your priorities

In game - Go to the designated start point of the bot

Set your targets. Please make sure you read the Guidelines here. Failing to stay withing the guidelines stops the bot from been 100% undetectable, however, should you want to bot longer, then the bot is still 95% + undetectable.


Step 7 - What next?

Well now your bot should be earning your exp, gp or a combination of the both, and because you’ve followed this guide you know that you have done all you can to ensure that the bot runs smoothly.

However sometimes, there are minor problems that users can encounter.

If you have a problem follow these 3 steps

1.) Check the Knowledgebase to see if anyone has created a guide to help you with your problem.

2.) Check the Help section for anyone else experiencing the same problems, if you can’t find anyone else experiencing the same problems, you can always create your own help
topic in this section.

3.) If users are unable to solve the problem then its over to the helpdeskto create a support ticket. If you need to create a support ticket, follow thisguide to create a proper support ticket that will be useful to staff.

Very good guide for those who are new to botting with RiD, just please update the "see now" parts of the guide so that they are links to the respective guides.

 

Pretty nice voids. I know RiD bots are definitely not the easiest to use. But By far the most rewarding
