17.the pressure of a sample of helium in a 1.00 L container Is .988 ATM. what is the new pressure if the sample is places in a 2.00 l container? 18. A gas at 89*C(degrees celsius) occupies a volume of .67 l. At hat Celsius temp will the volume increase to 1.12 liters. 19. The Celsius temperature of a 3.00 l sample of gas is lowered from 80 degree cels to 30*c. What will be the resulting volume of the gas? 20. A gas in a sealed container has a pressure of 125 kpa at a temperature of 30 deg. Celsius. If the pressure in the container is increased to 201 kpa what is the new temp? 14. If the pressure exerted by a gas at 25 * C in a volume of 0.044 L is 3.81 ATM. How many moles of gas are present? 15. Determine the temperature of 2.49 moles of gas contained in a 1.00 L vessel at a pressure of 143 kpa. Consider the production of sulfur trioxide from the combustion of sulfur dioxide. :2SO2+ O2(g) > 2SO3(g). Determine the volume of oxygen gas needed to produce .80 moles of sulfur. Trioxide. B. Determine the number of moles of sulfur trioxide produced by 19.8 liters of oxygen. 8. Determine the thermal energy required to raise the temperature of 550 g of water from 12 * c to 18* c. 10. How many joules of heat are necessary to raise the temp of 25 g of ice from 60.0* C to -10 * C? Can someone solve and show their work for these equations please? Sorry for the paragraph like questions I am on a I phone and it is hard to fix t.

So you're asking us to do your homework as opposed to looking for help?

The first few are using the gas relationships. Then some others use the ideal gas law equation.

Your question is really not thought out. It is 11:43 pm and I can not go to school right now to ask my chemistry teacher for help and my CBA(test is tomorrow). I can't find my notes in my disorganized binder, and I have a faint idea how to do these equations but need for people to show answers or tell me the equations used to solve each so I can do them, or other people could solve them show the equation and show work. I'm not asking for the whole entire breakdown on this stuff but the work and equations and maybe how to solve these questions is all. 0 w n t Z :) P.S I'f you want to spam a thread their is hundreds of others :)

When you post a bunch of questions in such a rush and ask for work, I can only assume its homework.

    For help:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combined_gas_law
The 2nd one with the p1,p2,v1,v2,t1,t2 are vital to doing the questions. When ever it asks, if a gas's ____ changes to this what is the _____. You use that equation, remove the things that are constant then plug in the 3 known ones and solve for the unknown.

The other is PV=nRT, pretty common equation.

Here, R is constant and n is moles. Most questions give you 4 of them and ask to solve the unknown.

That is the most general way I can help, I don't have time to do an actual question.
