The skype + MSN thing

So I recently updated my skype and merged it with MSN. And all my contact were gone. Followed a guide and restored them all. But everyone is offline and I don't get new invatations. What should I do? :/ I lost alot of clients because of this thing.

 

Try resending the contact requests that might help

 

Install an old version of Skype that isn't complete garbage like 5.10 and maybe your contacts will restore

 

It worked fine some time ago .

 

Try manually adding them?

 

Unmerge them if you feel that way and install an old version and do not upgrade.
I personally had the similar experience as you and unmerged them.

 

Like uninstall the skype thing and reinstall old skype + msn ?

 

Wait, you tried to add all your hotmail addresses to your skype, as in you searched them all using a mass-searcher?

 

Skype and MSN are joining together, therefore you can import your MSN contacts to Skype ahead of the change. I believe everything is brought together under one "Microsoft Account".

I don't think you need to uninstall your msn and then reinstall. You need to unmerge your skype and msn accounts. In order to unmerge them. you have to send them an email to have them unmerge for you manually. Here is a link to it that might help.
