Hey guys, everytime I pick an IP out from my VPN it will have a 4th digit such as "4" or lower, then when i check it on ipchecker or something similar the number is way higher, is this normal?

 

Can you explain in more detail? I have trouble making sense of it all. So, your local PC connects to a VPN (Virtual private network), which contains how many PCs? And you masquerade your local IP with the IP of one of the machines in the VPN? Do I follow?

 

yes, you mask your ip to be something decent for staking, and i picked one out that seems so, yet when i check the actual ip it isnt what it says it is, such as one thats

184.244.8.1

and i check it on ipchicken and its 184.224.8.56 or something

 

I'm going to assume that you haven't set up the VPN yourself and you're using a proxy service like GhostVPN. If that's the case, you can't really affect the VPN settings and you should probably either pick another server or keep reconnecting until your IP is what you want it to be.

I don't understand what the IP has to do with anything though. PID I can get, but that's strictly based on your Runescape login session, not your IP.

 

Pid in 07 is based on IP, not when you login.:noworry:
