Need Advice From A Moderator

I purchased a $200 amazon gc from a sythe user and the balance has been put on hold, from past experience I know this only happens when someone calls there bank and reports the transaction as fraud or the gift card has been purchased illegally so my question is do I have the right to dispute the payment with paypal?

 

I would contact Amazon first just to find out what's going on exactly. If you believe you been scammed, I don't see a problem with attempting to regain your funds.

 

I have and they claim what I said that the purchase of the gift card was unauthorized.

 

Which basically means the other party has claimed the payment as unauthorised. They've essentially scammed you, so I don't see a problem with disputing it.

It might also be a good idea to report the user as a scammer on Sythe also.
