Best 1 defence 07 scape Gear

Gear in terms of defence

At the moment what i have... is

Bearhead
Iron platebody
Iron platelegs (only 38 range at the momeny 70 for black d'hide soon)
Fury
Obsidian Cape
Iron kiteshield

Also use Mith gloves climbing boots zerker ring and brinze sabre for training

Other than what i mentioned anything i can improve on?

 

Filled zamorak book would be better then iron kite

Mind body is only for Best magic defence at 1 defence.. fire cape yes but i cannot get that at the moment.. and zammy book gives offensive stats no defensive...

 

mind body looks great with fire cape and bear hat aswell with the unholy book

 

It may look great but thats not the point i train at experiments, and with the set up im currently using i can get a good 60k-80k exp before needing to bank... more defensive bonuses means i can last longer.

First time i went i went with pk gear the str ammy monk robes etc... and i was out of food quite quickly and didnt get much experience

 

get a god book/fcape and bearhead and that should be best u can do tbh.

 

Iron Kite is better defesively than a god book..

 

Anti dragon shield is better all-around if I remember. Bear head doesn't give any defensive stats, get an iron full helm.

 

Get an iron defender.

 

False... Bearhead is better defensively than iron full helm that is the reason i now possess it and i just want defence because of the fact i want to last longer at experiments with one bag of tunas.

Anti-d shield has lower stats than iron kite, only defeats it in magic defence.

 

Strength and accuracy> defense. Especially when you have 1 defense. Overall the unholy book would get you more exp because of offensive bonuses. That's like not bringing super sets because you think 4 more pieces of food would get you better exp.

 

you say iron kite is better defensive, a god book will get you more accurate hits it will give you more xp an hour so more xp per trip

 

im tryna train and keep costs to a minimum... i use combat potions.. cheaper + tunas.. and prefer to stay at experiemtns longer.. i dont care if i get 5-10k exp per invent more if i use super pots etc... just tryna last as long as i can there and higher the defensive bonus the less they hit on me.

 

just use iron plate kite, bear helmet chaps and obby cape doesnt matter that much and its the cheeapest

What you're missing in the whole "Iron Kite vs. Zammy Book" scenario is that what tiny tiny tiny (and can I mention TINY) defense bonus the kite offers will be made up for 10x over in terms of the accuracy of your hits -> xp/hr with the zamorak book.

also you can keep the zammy book for when you pk ... get the zammy book everyone is right
