Need abit of help

Does anyone know what is a good program to use to make Yt BG/Avatars etc, and is it possibly free to download? :3

 

I'm pretty sure most people use photoshop, but it costs if you get it legit. I heard there's a free 30 day trial for it though. You could try gimp also. It's an a completely free alternative to photoshop, but that means it's not as versatile as photoshop and it's actually harder to find tutorials for it. By the way if you're trying to make yt layout for the first time ever with gfx programs, the first few outcomes probably won't be amazing. Just read a lot of tutorials, mess around with it to get used to the basic options and maybe find someone who'd be willing to kinda be a mentor. Joining a gfx forum helps a lot from what I've heard. Its a version of Photoshop CS4. I just tried it myself and it works perfectly.
