What will happen to D Claws?!

I want to buy D Claws soon, but I don't know if I should buy them now or wait?.. What's going to happen to them? Will they go UP or DOWN?. I talked to somebody in game and he said they'll go down so he's gonna sell them just incase. This is what I thought, and this is what everyone is doing now .. So when everyone sells before trade update won't they buy back after which will cause prices to rise anyways. I just don't see claw prices going down much after trade. What do you think?

They are just a DDS on steroids.
So they may drop in price, lots are in the game.

 

Well they are primarily used for rushing in +1 worlds. When wild comes out a rush=skull; skull=gf claws. More than likely will drop due to people not using them nearly as much for pvp.

 

If real old wildy comes back which it's. You will be able to pray protect item so people will pk as in +1 worlds.

 

True.. The protect item things is true also ... So am I making the wrong type of pure right now?.. lol I don't really like head to head pking because I pk on a fucked up laptop, so I can't click and move the cursor as fast as others. (disadvantage)

 

D claws are currently under market price. I don't see why it matters what price you buy them for if you intend to keep them. I can assume that they will not fall a great deal if they do happen to fall in free trade, in fact, they may actually rise just before/after the old wilderness comes back. I can see them raising in price, maybe not immediately, but I think they will. More kids pk'ing = more kids buying claws

 

Definetly drop, people will not risk 20m in wildy and for you lot that are old skool stakers you will know that 2nd hand weapons are not used for staking (d claws/gs) therefor no demand in staking neither wildy

another thing about wildy, do u remember the amount of whips lost from pking bcoz prayer ran out? Well if people lost whips why would they risk d claws as a secondary weapon

 

Everyone is forgetting that there is a damn prayer to protect an item. Fucking 2k10 prods need to learn what they are talking about before they go babbling about how people don't want to risk claws. Honestly it makes you look like a complete idiot who have never pked before.

OT: If I were you I would go ahead and buy and then when free trade comes out and they skyrocket sell them again. And then you can wait a few weeks until they stabilize. No idea where they are going to stabilize at tbh.

They would drop. Too over priced for pking. They wont be useful in pking or staking as they are two handed and a good shield can protect against them. Only way I can see them being used is by 60 80 1 pures or alike pures pulling it out to KO.

Your forgetting that there's quick prayer, I don't think the same amount of people will be willing to risk. However, some people will still be willing to take that risk. I've seen plenty of people risk divines and max str in pvp worlds. The price will either stay around where it's at now or rise back up.

 

to the comments about using the protect item prayer... if you pked in the past, prior to the pvp/+1 worlds, you'll know about smite

but ot, i see claws going down since cash will be more valuable and also the fact that less people will use due to risk of losing

But you would think if someone is willing to risk that much then they would bring
enough sup restores or prayer potions to last them.

Pointless thread, no-one can predict the future really... you'll have to wait and see what happens

 

the supply will be the same since the pked claws will be sold, the demand WILL rise due to free trade and the supply will go up due to people selling their claws. imo it will have the regular inflation or deflation as all affected items.
