Colour Switch Viral Videos/Advertisements

is it just me that's getting triggered by these damn viral videos that are blatantly just advertising the shit app?

it probably does, but it's a gamble. imo 50% will go and DL the app and the other 50% (me included) will just be put off

quite interesting how they've gone about it though (paying socially networked people to do such videos and on quite a mass scale)

 

PPC is huge.

 

50% is a huge success in terms of results from advertising. But in reality it probably isn't anywhere near 50%. Probably below 10% and even that sounds kind of high. I develop iOS ads and put ads on their and not even 1% click those.

 

oh, probably yeah but i was more referring to the % of people that would probably end up downloading/ignoring the game as a result of watching said videos (the actual viral videos) i'm solely talking about the use of social media to market that app and how they've done it in a unique/spammy way (i haven't actually used the app so can't comment on that but i trust your figures)
