    Identity Theft/Fraud Risk

Approximately one hour ago, I had lost a card(not a credit/debit card, a business card sized paper with information written on it) the bank had given me, from what i understand it's not vital, but still important information to keep from fraudulent individuals.

    The card contained:
    -My Savings #
    -My Checking #
-My username for online banking (not the password)
    -Possibly my name somewhere

There was not any pins or passwords on it, I would like some input on what my course of actions should be for this situation.

    Thanks

Call up your bank and have it cancelled if you cannot find it

I would call up your bank immediately and make them cancel your old card and freeze your accounts. Then make an appointment immediately to go in and get a new card. After that, the old card will no longer work and the only thing to worry about is that the potential theif could have your name and bank account numbers. Not too much they can do with that though after the card is disabled, and if your PIN and online password is kept safe. No need to worry :)

Just call your bank and cancel the card, you may also want to check your bank just in case they have managed to use the card already.

You are absolutelly safe from everything if you did not loose the ATM machine card.

If you did, then just get a new one and black the previous one.

As an expert in such situations, I can tell, no one can do anything with such information, you are as much safe as before.

It was not a card like a credit/debit card. it was a business card sized paper with the information on it, no direct money tied to it. Just a piece of paper.

Thanks, what i'm mostly worried about is the online username being cracked, any input on that?

the chances of anyone even picking up your bank statement are slim as it is, and its probably impossible to crack, im sure your bank has safety measures like mine does.

I still wouldn't take the risk though.
Tell your bank and see what they say.
