Torag/Guthan/Dharok helm- Def bonus.
Dragon full/med- Def bonus.
Armadyl helm- Range bonus, but lacks def.
Robin hat- Range bonus but lacking def, plus most expensive.
Archer helm- Range bonus but lacking def
Sara/Zammy/Guthix Mitre- +4 Prayer bonus
Berzerker helm- Def bonus
Rune full helm- Def bonus

Chest
Armadyl chestplate- range bonus and slight def bonus.
Black d'hide body- Range bonus and slight def bonus.
YOU DO *NOT* NEED TO BE FINISHED DRAGON SLAYER TO WEAR *BLACK* D'HIDE BODY.

Don't use karils- it's def bonuses excluding mage is worse than black d'hide. Why would you need mage bonus in there?

Legs
Verac Skirt- Good Def and pray bonus
Torag/Guthan/Dharok legs- Good def bonus.
Armadyl plateskirt- Range bonus.
Dragon/Rune platelegs- Def bonus.
Black d'hide chaps- Range bonus.

Amulet
Fury- Some prayer bonus and atk + def bonuses. Excellent amulet.
God stole- +10 prayer bonus, use if you have 60+ prayer.
Amulet of glory- Weaker version of fury.
Holy/Unholy symbol- +8 Prayer bonus and only about 150gp.

Boots
Bandos boots- +1 prayer and some def bonus.
Dragon boots- Def bonus
Ranger boots- +8 Range
Rune boots- Little def bonus

Gloves
Bracelet of regeration- Doubles hp restore rate.
Best Rfd gloves- Excellent bonuses.
Dragon gaunlets- Good def bonus.
Black D'hide/spiky vambs- Range bonus and slight def.
Combat bracelet- Little bonuses.

Ring
Archer ring- +4 range
Recoil- does some damage.

Cape
Sara/zammy/guthix Cloak- +3 Prayer
Obby cape- +11 or so def bonus. (not sure)

Weapon
Rune c'bow + 1000 Diamond Bolt (e )- Strong and spec becomes useful.
Rune c'bow + 700 Onyx bolt (e )- Powerful and heal, just like guthans, although it is majorly expensive.
Rune c'bow + 1200 Emerald Bolt (e )- Poison spec is frequent. Poison hits 5. Wouldn't recommend if you're below 80 range though.
Crystal bow- Nice and accurate bow.
xbow + 3k racks- Simple and works, but more expensive than many of the above methods.

Shield
Note: Disregard if using a 2-handed bow.
Dragonfire shelid- Good def
Crystal/Obby/Granite/Rune shelid- cheaper def bonus
Any god book- +5 prayer bonus is very helpful.

For Higher prayer levels: 60+
16 Super restore (4)- heal brews' side effects and restore pray.
9 sara brew (4)- best food and acts as super def.
2 Tuna potato/manta ray- Emergency fast healing.
1 Ranging potion (optional)- Just makes things a wee bit easier.

For lower prayer levels
18 Super restore (4)
10 Sara brew (4)
