Ned is a scammer.

Ned, we've all seen him wondering around Draynor, and we trust him to, he's been here over 7 years right, so he must be legit? Wrong.

Ned has been scamming players since he came through the portal to runescape.

I had a conversation with Ned just today and I now know for a fact that he is a scammer.

I was in need of rope so I went to ned and took some pictures of our conversation.



Ned claimed he could make rope out of four balls wool, so naturally I was unsure and decided to ask him.





When he heard the question ned glanced away suspicious as he reassured me he could indeed make rope out of four balls of wool.



Certain at this point that he was attempted to scam, I told him that I believed rope came from jute or hemp.



Knowing I was accusing him of scamming he angrily responded.



When I politely told him no, he then proceeded to tell me that he needed the money to purchase alcohol. Which I found very inappropriate considering how many minors were around.



After this I checked my crafting skill to see what rope was really made from only to find it was made from Yak hair with a requirement of 30 crafting.



I then proceeded to high score Ned to find out that his crafting level is not even high enough to make rope. And the requirement for appearing on the high score is 30. coincidence? I think not.


I wondered why he was claimed he could make rope from 4 balls of wool? That was when I discovered this.



Four balls of wool are worth over four times as much as one rope. It is clear to me Ned has been running this scam of trading ropes for wool in order to make a massive profit from the unaware player. He has been doing this for over 7 years and has likely scammed over 1 billion RSGP by now.

I request that this nub scammer be immediately banned.

This post is obviously not a serious report a scammer post, it was intended to give our hard working mods and admins a cheap laugh, instead of the usual annoyance of sorting through a ban.
