Explanation of the trade: Corby

Bought an account off Corby (Corby#1570 | 393939659987615746)
Account was then recovered by Lovelly who was hired by Corby to train the account.
Requested by Corby to make the scam report and he is currently working with me to resolve this situation as seen in screenshots noted below.

How they scammed: Traded over all valuables within the account, lost approximately 250-300ish M
Also attempted to scam by asking for loans from people on FL.

Hello

I requested that this user create the scam report imgur.com and I would like to help him get his items and value for the account returned.

I was wondering how my worker recovered the account since I typically create the accounts myself to ensure recovery responsibility. As it turns out in this case I was on a family vacation and @Lovelly was requesting that I place a new order for services. Due to previous business we had done, I let Lovelly services create the accounts and do tutorial island for me which ended up giving them recovery priority. Soon after placing the order for this account and a few others, I stopped buying services from Lovelly because I found a cheaper worker for the same work. I believe Lovelly waited a few months. I paid for the services in July, I did not sell the account until September, and the account was recovered in November.

 

I tried to resolve this issue with @Lovelly without the need for a scam report but they have denied recovering the account. Since they created the account and did the tutorial it would be impossible for me to be able to recover the account. @Lovelly services swore to me when I was using them that they did not use workers and that they did the services themselves.

 

strik3f0rce told me privately but did not mention it in his report, he had authenticator and email set and both were bypassed during the recovery which means it was a recovery and not a random hack. At least that is the way I see it which is why I encouraged him to make this report. It does not appear to be user error that resulted in the hack.

Although I presume he assumed I was the original owner and Im going to guess I did too. I usually make the accounts myself through the tutorial to ensure I am OO but I did not in this instance due to circumstances. @Lovelly was asking me for more services and she told me that she does this to feed her family so I was trying to be helpful and not delay additional orders at the time.

 

In my thread I state that I am the OO for all accounts listed for sale. This was incorrect for this account and 4 others. I acknowledge my mistake and that is why I am trying so hard to rectify the situation with my customer.

 

I understand that technically since the account is past my 30 day TOS for recovery/assistance I could have dismissed the customer and ignored this completely keeping the information about OO secret. Instead I encouraged the customer to make a scam report and am openly acknowledging my mistake in mis-representing the OO. I do not want other people scammed by @Lovelly and I want to h elp my customer.

 

The customer has ownership of their account already, the hacker did not change the email they simply bypassed it and stole the wealth.

I will see if the customer can prove their bank worth and will make a scam report after I figure out what the verifiable value lost was.

 

I am assuming the account was hacked via recovery and the password changed. The customer then recovered the password via the registered email which was never changed.

 

I dont expect the customer to trust their account anymore so I will at bare minimum be refunding them the value they paid for the account and will be making a scam report for that value. I doubt the customer will be able to validate their lost gold I am waiting for them to respond via discord.

 

I was under the impression the e-mail was left after a recovery. Thank you for clarifying maybe I am being lied to by the customer and owe @Lovelly an apology (and a gift of gold) for my acusations.

This is an image I was sent of my customer and his friend discussing the hack. At the bottom you can see he says he was "cleaned out" which to me indicated he had access to his account again. If you are correct about the e-mail this would mean something else occured that was not a recovery and the customer was hacked via a different means.

 

The customer has confirmed they still have access to the account. I guess they were hacked some other way that was not a recovery imgur.com
