Michigan has yet to face a real test.

If they beat OSU, then you might be on to something, otherwise they're just all hype and are beating up on garbage BIG10 opponents.

Wisconsin is a garbage team? Wisconsin dominated ranked teams and should have beat OSU. Michigan should have won by alot more but they missed 3 extremely easy field goals

Yeah no. Bama. This time every year, without fail, someone picks Michigan to go win it all then Ohio State shits on them and that's the end of that conversation.

I hate that "should have won by way more" argument. I hear it all the time. You're arguing hypotheticals. At the end of the day - Michigan won by 7 in a terribly orchestrated game. It points more to the fact that they struggle to handle the pressures of playing in an actual contested game. Harbaugh was able to bring in a bunch of 5-star and blue chip recruits, but having them actually perform come Saturday, on a big stage, is another task entirely. Not saying he is incapable - but by beating a Wisconsin team that is on par with a NW of a few years ago or perhaps a MSU of '14 or '15 does not solidify their position at the top of the CFB, it just simply makes them a good team.

Theres always one roll tide bama fan in every room..you're that guy.

I actually hate Alabama. But their greatness cannot be denied. They're way ahead of the pack. It's absurd really. Everyone else playing checkers and they're playing chess.

Regardless of what they should have won by they won the game and then smashed Rutgers the following week by like 80.

Yes of course Alabama is good this year. Theyre 80% 4 and 5 star players. But they are overrated.

Replace Alabama with Michigan in that sentence and you're onto something. Michigan has 1 good win and they haven't even left Ann Arbor yet besides to play trash Rutgers who is a complete joke.

Also Rutgers literally the worst D-1 program in both basketball and football. Shouldn't even be in D1 athletics anymore.

Didn't Alabama just win by 40 on the road against a Top 10 team? Far more impressive than anything Michigan has done in the past half decade much less their very tame and easy schedule they've enjoyed this year. Ohio State already one upped Michigan's win vs Wisconsin because they did it on the road.

I give Michigan maybe a 30 percent chance of winning at the Shoe. Lord knows what happened last year to Michigan when they were overhyped and got blown out at HOME by OSU.

Let me rephrase that. Alabama is not overrated but they are definitely a lot more beatable than people think. of course my opinion may be biased since ive been a michigan fan since i was born. But i will say that Michigan will beat OSU this year. ive even heard OSU fans say that. Every team has its weaknesses. Also Michigan is ranked the number 1 Defense.

Michigan is definitely heavily improved and I think their rank relative to the rest of CFB is accurate. However I personally do not think Ohio State will lose to them. But that is why you play the game of course and I do not think Michigan will lose before that unless they really choke.

I could not agree more with this sentiment. It is exactly 100% truth. It's not hard to beat up on garbage in the BIG10 and claim that you have a stake in anything.

This too. OSU v. Michigan will be a game for the ages assuming nobody slips up before then, there are still sleepers in the BIG10 (see: Penn St). Whoever wins that game will assuredly be 1 / 2 & poised for a title.

leggo buckeyes, wins @Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. They should be able to tear Michigan's defense apart.
