Does defence REALLY win championships?

Here we are and the patriots (worst defence in the nfl) are playing the giant who have the 29th(?) worst defence in the nfl. Does defence really win championships these days?

 

Well seeing as the Giants defense has been beat up and had quite a few people injured, and i believe they have the most losses of a team to make it to the Super Bowl ever, we'll see. Now they have some of their original defensive players back, tonight will tell. But with Tom Brady.. who needs a defense.
