Who is your favorite anime\video game character

As the title says I am interested to know who your favorite anime\video game character is and if possible a short reason on why. The reason I am doing this is for a school project I'll post the results when I get enough information collected and I can't tell you exactly what it is as it may create miss-calculations in the data. Thanks for your help and time.

edit: also forgot to mention if you would please include your age.

 

Spryo or Crash bandicoot - Video games.
If you're talking about anime, San from Princess Mononoke or Baron from the Cats Return. (I'm 17)

 

I've played Zelda for most of my life so I'm going to go with Link

I'm 18 by the way.

 

Mario & Luigi, grew up with a Nintendo console ever since I can remember. age 17

 

Mario and Yoshi. N64 is still my favorite console. And I'm 23.

 

Gordon Freeman from Half-Life series because it is the best game I have ever played. I'm 18.

 

Hands down Mario, best guy to grow up with ever.

Anime slash video game? Kinda odd to group those together.

Anime would be L from Death Note.

Video game would be Crash Bandicoot, I guess. He was the first character I could think of that I liked.

As for my age, you can either make a guess and put that, or not include me. I just answered for fun =p.

Anime: Motoko Kusanagi (film form, not the purple haired version)
Game: Sonic the Hedgehog (original trilogy)

Video Game: Wheatley from Portal 2 ... I played that game up until he went evil about 3 times just to listen to everything he says

It amazes me how long Zelda has been around, I know my dad (50) would say his favorite all time is Link.

And it so happens to be mine also. -Age 22.

 

Zidane from Final Fantasy 9. I liked him as he was a break from the traditional lead character they had used previously such as cloud and squall which were bad asses in there own right but Zidane I felt had more human qualities such as being comical in places, thinking of women a lot and even showing great depth and understanding when he helps Vivi come to terms with his lineage and impending death.

 

Zoro from One Piece. He's hot, and masculine.
