Nate got hit with the scam

Hello staff! I've just included everything in the deleted post as most of this is sensitive or I don't want it in public due to its nature.

First of all, I would like to preface that this sale was completely off-site. This guy has had me added on Discord for months and we've been discussing the account since well before my DNT.

Explanation of the trade: I was selling him my main account for 1.53b 07 (valued at ~$950)

How they scammed: He paid me 1b up front on the Sunday (15th July) and the deal was to pay the remaining 530m by the Tuesday (17th). However, within that 2 days he managed to get the account banned. I knew at that point he wouldn't want to pay up the remaining amount owed, but decided to be nice and sort of hoped that he'd prove me wrong. It was dumb of me to think that he'd come around, especially now that I look back over all of the excuses, but it was a decent chunk of cash and there still was a bit of hope I guess.

I've spoken to @Gen about this on Discord. If I am given permission to recover the account and the ban is for something like botting, I may be able to get it quashed. However, if I do manage to get the account back in action, what would the course of action then be? Ideally I wouldn't want to refund the guy, given that he has completely tarnished my account and was fully planning on scamming me over $300.

Banned for 3 months + he will remain permanently DNT'd until he pays the remainder that he owes you for the account/successfully pardons. He can explain himself in a dispute if he wishes to. I'm sorry for your loss nonetheless @Nate.
