Help, Sex and Popped Condoms

My girlfriend and I had sex earlier today, and the condom slipped, she is on birth control, however due to work restraints she has taken the pill between 10-11 pm the past few nights when it should be taken around 6-7 pm as usual.

We are both wayyyyy too young to be having kids, so I had kind of noticed it felt loose so I pulled out as I was about to orgasm and the sperm got on her legs and she's not sure if it went into her vagina at all, the condom however was still in her vagina (it got stuck).

My question is, do we need a Plan B (emergency contraceptive), and if worse comes to worse, how much does an abortion cost (4-5 weeks pregnant in the state of NH)

 

You should always use the Plan B just incase. If it was earlier today that will stop you having to take extreme action like an abortion.

 

There's the after day pills? Or something like that? I forgot what exactly is the name, but it's basically a pill filled with a shitton of hormones (to what I can remember) so a baby is a no-go.

I told her that I'd pay for the plan b and the local Walgreens carries it for under $50 but she said she thinks she'll be fine and her sister took an abortion pill 5 weeks after pregnancy to terminate the baby and if she needs to she will take it too.

So how much is this pill, and is it worth it to hold off and see if her birth control does the job?

 

Plan B is 40/50$ from what I can find (from the likes of Walmart etc)

Try calling around local pharmacies and asking for their price of Plan B or other, similar alternatives

 

Woah woah woah. Breathe for a second here. You say she is on birth control correct? My husband and I have had sex on a multitude of occasions where I was the only one using contraception (pills). He has a slight latex allergy which is why we tend to stay away from condoms. My best advice for you is to actually check her ovulation cycle. When was her last period? Did she thoroughly clean herself out after intercourse? Did you guys remove the condom safely and secure the fluids that were inside?

Being a younger woman myself, 22, I understand where this fear comes from. My best advice is to buy one of the Ovulation tests to verify if she is passing eggs at this time. Once this is verified, then you could make your choice from there.

Im not sure if she cleaned herself thoroughly, but she has a 91% of NOT being pregnant due to her mistakenly taking the pill at an incorrect time. this seems REALLY low to me and is scary. There were no fluids inside the condom but there were some on her leg and it was dark and she wiped it all off before we could see if anything went inside of her or in between her legs..

 

Hmm. I am just trying to prevent you from making a mistake by getting hormone based pills. Those are for extreme cases and I believe that may do more harm than good in this situation. You did well by pulling out when you noticed something wrong. My best advice is to do what I mentioned above and maybe have her see her OBGYN to make sure there is no damage from the condom + they can run tests just to be sure. Since female health and babies are their specialty, that may be a wise option just to clear the air. Day after pills can flood her system with a lot of unneeded estrogen which could cause havoc with her reproductive system as a whole. Just something to think about. I commend you for manning up and worrying about this as this trait makes you a great guy in my eyes. Hopefully you get some answers as forum advice will only get you so far.

 

she's under the age of 18 and needs her parents to sign for everything at the doctors etc in this state. I have no clue what an OBGYN is, one of those doctors that specializes in the female reproduction system?

She said that if she doesnt get her period (usually starting around the 18th or the 21st) then she will take a pregnancy test then if pregnant she will take one of the pills that you can take that will abort the baby within 9 weeks of pregnancy. Does anyone know how effective those are?

 

Do you have a local planned parenthood around? They should be able to help. But if she is on BCP, she has to have been checked out by a OBY. I would ask her. If you two are panicking like this, it may be wise to involve your parents. I know it may be rough, but they can get you the support you need and trying to hide this from them would be a mistake in the long run. I'm sure they will be more sympathetic knowing you two were trying to be safe. But this exactly why I have never understood having sex before you are 18. Should something happen, this is what it generally leads to. I'm not trying to sound like a hypocrite as I myself was under 18 when I started. But my parents were fully aware of my actions, so I guess I had an easier time of it.

Just something to think about is all. The most accurate way of testing is to have a blood panel done.Since they can see hormonal spikes in blood, that could be a good option.

Honestly, from the sounds of it, the chance of her being pregnant are so low that I wouldn't give it a second thought. Her taking the pill a few hours later shouldn't have an effect at all. In fact, most pills can be taken a day later and still be effective. This combined with the fact that you didn't finish inside her, I wouldn't worry about it.

Keep in mind that girls have their cycles too, so everything would have to align for her be pregnant.

 

I did look up the cycle thing too, and according to her period's start date, she was at her peak around 5/3-5/4 and this happened on 5/5....

 

Just be ready to pay 17% of all your money to child support, If she gets preg just be ready and if you break up child support is gonna rape you. They can even charge you up to 23% of all your money each week depending on the conditions...just for one kid.... raping me for $97.00 a week atm -.- WRAP IT UP.

I read it, and i realize you say it broke, it's happened to me too, that's why i'm in the situation i am, i'm just saying you can tell when it breaks, yeah you realize it but she doesn't so of course your gonna keep going. The amount of emotional baggage that comes from such a slaughter is unbearable. The ramifications of it won't strike you immediately, solely because you won't really believe it happened. As years go by it will dawn on you that you could've had a son or daughter. You will begin to think about all the things you would've done with him/her. Eventually, you'll wonder what you would've done with all your grandkids.

Here's the ironic part. Abortions hurt more than an actual pregnancy. Now you may think, "What's my source?!". Well, my aunt. She had one done and because of that, I will never meet my older cousin. She said the pain physically and emotionally has traumatized her. Not only that, the women that get these operations are not treated with respect. (Also, sourced by my aunt). No matter what propaganda they feed you there saying, "Everyone gets one, they are fine!" is nothing more than a pile of excrement.

Sure, you get rid of one "problem", but overtime it has a snowball effect of new ones. The possibility of your girlfriend not able to conceive again, bleeding to death, contemplating suicide, this can go on and on.

Don't murder your children, put them up for adoption. One day, (trust me) they will find you and thank you for choosing adoption instead of abortion. If you don't want your children, someone else does. Choose life, not death.
