Getting lip pierced tommorow

Okay so i'm getting my lip pierced tommorow and this is my first piercing (guy btw) and i'm kind of nervous. i have a high tolerance for pain. Also im going for snake bites should i only get one side done then wait and get the other side? i need help with how to overcome my nervousness. thanks

 

I know people who have snake bites. I've wanted to get them, but my parents won't let me.

If you're doing it, please do it professionally. I know at least 12 people who have them, and said it's nothing but a pinch. It just depends on how well you take pain. It shouldn't hurt. I would still only trust a professional. Home remedies aren't bad, but, it's easy for it to get infected. If you're doing it at home, instead of numbing it with ice, numb it with something for your lips. Ice will make it harder for the needle to go through. So, if you're going to use a home remedy, make sure you have the right size needle which would match up with the ring you're using.

That's terrible advice and is dangerous, drug use perfectly fine with me but there can be serious complications from getting a piercing whilst under the influence.

I've got my lip pierced, it the least painful piercing I've had. Needle goes straight through, slight sharp pain for literally half a second, then it just feels warm. Getting a piercing/tattoo under the influence of ANY substance is incredibly retarded, there really is no reason to be nervous and you'll see that after you get it done. A lip piercing is a pretty good place to start if you're considering getting more, but don't expect them all to be as smooth as this.

Don't do what I did and change it early (wait AT LEAST eight weeks), because it can seriously become painful. I trust you've looked up general guidelines to keeping piercings clean.
