Rant about Silver players

So I was Gold 1 S7 and had bad placement games. Won 4 only out of 10, and I had 3 games that we've should of have won but it was thrown away, because the team doesn't wanna end/do objectives *sigh*

Got placed in Silver 3 and now I'm stuck with Silver players who literally has no brain and I'm about to flip. I was so happy that I got out of this cancerous league years ago, and I'd rather play with bronzies than these guys. Atleast it's carryable down there

I don't flame my team at all, not that kind of player and I don't tilt easily. I always try to bounce back in the game. Just had 3 loss games in a row and I didn't have more than 4 deaths each game + I won my lane.

Just finished 3rd game and my team had total 33 deaths, and 3 of them was from me *sigh*

TL;DR

Gold 1 in S7
Has a bad placement
Stuck in Silver 3 with scrubs and dumb people

 

If I were you I'd just keep grinding it out man. Just ignore them and do what you have to do. Eventually you'll end up carrying games and winning. Don't lose focus!!!

 

Sounds like you didn't have very good MMR, so it would make sense you were placed lower. I understand that it's very tilting to be playing consistently while your team isn't doing hot, but it happens to everyone. As long as you continue to perform well, you will climb.

Every season beginning is usually more difficult to climb anyways, so if you want an easier time you can just wait it out for a few.

 

Sounds like you just need to focus on self improvement and play more games, Record some of your games on OP.GG then replay them side by side with a Pro players recorded match and see what they are doing different to you and try to mimic them. You've only played 13 games in S8 so you won't really be at your true rank for atleast 100 games anyways. End of the day if you're better then the Elo you are playing in you will climb the more games you play, blaming teammates will not get you anywhere and remember not all games are winnable. i'm sure if you linked your op.gg or told us your username and server it would make it alot easier to give you some feedback on things you could work on to improve.

 

I think you misunderstood me there. I'm not trying to improve, its a rant thread. I used to be a Plat player (Been playing since Season 2)

I came back after a 1,5 year break and ended in Gold 1. But I had bad placement games and got placed in Silver 3. Silver is a pain in the butt to get out of.

Just gotta keep spammin games. Why do you think pro player/streamers duo when they smurf? They know low elo is aids. Unless you're a jungle God it's not easy to solo climb through low elo but it is possible when you just spam ranked. Your skill level will eventually climb you out of that elo. I usually play solo split push champs like trynd, jax, etc. in low elo cause i don't depend on my teammates.

 

yeah I went from g3 to s3, going 5-5 on placements. finally back to g5, best advice for silver that I found is.....duo. find someone that knows how to turn their monitor on and duo with them.if they are decent and your decent that's 1 less person that can make plays. follow up, and take objectives while you team circle jerks in the dragon pit

 

Came back after a Hiatus when I was mid-gold and I'm now mid-silver. The main difference, in my eyes, is the complete lack of map awareness. I can't count how many times me and the jungler have been fighting/catching someone in top-side river and the top laner just doesn't look down and help.

i'm similar i play riven top and i keep pushing because they can't ignore me and i can easily 1v2 or 1v3 depending on my lead

 

Silver isn't bad.
It's one of those elos where you can legit carry from any role (yes including support) in a 1 v 9 way. Make good decisions, while being aggressive, and looking to make plays. Ward, monitor your map and gg easy.

 

If you're better than your elo you will climb

I was hardstuck in silver first 2 seasons, thought i was to good for silver. Realized i was dogshit and got better, got gold in s3, then plat the season after. If you are better than silver, you would carry urself out of it

 

I'm silver in heart and kidney! Too good for bronze, too bad for gold. The games here are frustrating.

 

There’s not much of a difference between gold and silver. Try not to focus on your team’s mistake over your own. Your mistakes tend to impact yourself less than your teams as nobody wants to blame themselves.

 

Not much to rant about.. They're in silver for a reason lol. You expect them to play better than their elo?
