MSN - Mass Add Problem.

I know what a mass-add is, but I need to know how to stop it.

I remember Skele said there is some option that prevents people from adding you, but they can message you.

Help please!

 

Skele said if you go into your personal MSN options, it is listed in there. Ill look around and see if I can find that post.

EDIT and did you get 100's of adds? If so it happened to me, Tmoe, and a few other MMs, it was a specific targeted mass add from an organized botnet. Just make a new msn if you need to, thats what I did.

 

Yes, I did. I went and watched the rest of the World Cup games, came back; downloaded a mouse marco and had it decline and block them all.

Took about 2 minutes of marcoing.

Cambo was the one mass adding me like a little bitch.

 

There really isn't much you can do except wait it out. (And this is mainly a testing post. Just needed to say something productive)

 

Go to options > Privacy and uncheck the option that says "Only allow people on my lists to message me" (or something like that) and then uncheck the option below that says "Alert me when someone adds me" (or something like that).
