    My very first sig.

I had a handful of extra time here in the early hours of the day, and so I figured that since I already have Photoshop on my computer, I might as well take a shot at making a signature.

So without further ado, I present to you my first diabolical creation.

    I'd gladly accept all.

    I like it but:

    1. The left/bottom is kind of plain and dull.
    2. Doesn't stand out to catch my eye. (Not a bad thing, but i'm just saying how i feel).
    3. Use more lighting effects.

Looks good, only you should add more ligth.
and just upgrade everything a little bit.
for the rest, it's nice for your first try.

Very nice for your first try. Did you use a tutorial?
I don't know if that thing on the right is a render, but if it is, it has bad placement. Try placing it in the middle (or as tr1bal says, follow the rule of the thirds and place it a little on the right, but I just don't think that is a good rule for sigs, prob is good for photography or something).
Kind of dull colors, but the green stuff in the back makes it look better. Is that a c4d in the back? If the text is just so nobody rips, then its okay but if you put it on because you wanted to, it doesn't look that good. Try using a different color (everything is mainly brown in your signature), and placing it a bit higher and right[er].
Personally, Draucia would give that a 8/10.

    My very first sig.

I was thinking before I flattened the image like an idiot that I should have fixed the lighting a bit and add a little pizazz, but I figured knowing me, I would have screwed it all up in the process and wouldn't want to backtrack.
Regardless, thank you for your criticism and I'll take it into account if I ever try to make a second.

If I didn't use a tutorial, it would look like I made it on paint.
And yes, the Big Daddy on the right is a render, and what I wanted to do with it was have his drill create a shattering effect that spread across the entire image, but I realized halfway in that I didn't have the knowledge of how to make that happen.
The background is actually a mix of two c4d's (one having the fill only at 15% so it's hardly noticeable). Once I started making it, I was using different effects/brushes to create an abstract effect, although it wasn't working well so I mixed the c4d's in it lightly.
And I only placed my name there because I needed a signature for this site but couldn't go through the trouble of requesting one only to have it done by the many amateurs like me and not have it look professional such as yours.
But thanks for the rating, and more importantly, the feedback.
    I appreciate it.

The rule of thirds applies to any visual image. Photographic, Film, Computer Generation - Whatever - It applies.

For a first, it's really quite good.

I'd say work on positioning your text and focal. Plus, try and bring in a bit more depth.

It's great for first sig, try to read more tutorials and avoid making double focal points like you have here.

    Colouring's good though.
