Cataclysm Heroics TOO difficult?

With the new release of the newest addition to World of Warcraft, Blizzard was done with the low-level challenges of old. CC is crucial and without organization and a set game plan, it's hard to run a normal cataclysm dungeon with a PUG. I am an 85 worg warlock with about 335 iLevel items, and every random heroic I have gone into with my RL friend (85 priest), we find the skill to be completely lacking to the point of epic failure. Is it simply our realm, or is the difficulty of Cataclysm heroics/raids simply TOO much?


Post thoughts/opinions on dungeon updates in Cata as well.

 

They really aren't that hard. Go find some more guildies / friends to run with you, or even pug some from trade and insist on using vent. If you can't find anybody else to run with you go into dungeons and just be bossy and start shouting out orders of which mobs to cc ect.

 

You don't queue with people from your realm if you join randomly.

And no it's not hard, you're just not over-gearing it yet, and you actually need a tiny bit of strategy now. People don't realize that.

 

It is not your realm. Even if you were in a group of 5 people and queue'd, you couldn't blame an entire realm just for one group of failure.

Also, I do not feel Cataclysm Heroics are difficult. What comes with a new expansion is always the element of surprise. With some of the new WoTLK dungeons, I thought Pit of Saron was somewhat difficult to begin with. At the moment, I just feel players need experience before one can gauge the difficulty of instances. Also, you must understand that previously in WoTLK, people were just walking through instances in ICC Heroic Gear. Now, players are going head on in these instances with greens and blues, forcing players to use effort rather than facepalming their keyboard.

With Cataclysm Raids, they come to be the same. However, it's best to progress in these with a Guild, as you'll progress as a player as the Guild progresses. Raids are not expected to be easy, as it requires teamwork of 10/25 individuals. I can't say that gear comes second to experience, but I feel that they both equal out. Even in some of the best gear in the game, I don't feel players can't just kill bosses with little effort. Co-ordination is key, which we'll see play out for months and months.

You'll see that dungs/raids will be easier and easier...

 

They are fairly simple, if you know the tactics, it makes them alot easier. It was like in Wrath of the Lich King, if you didn't know the fights with Pit Of Saron for example, it'd be very complicated to complete, but if you spend a few minutes briefly reading up the fights, it makes it alot easier.

 

they are Heroics and arent ment to be easy i think its better if they are harder it takes more skill to complete then

 

Cataclysm heroics are only hard if you have a tank who thinks it's still wotlk and he can pull the entire instance, or a healer who thinks they're godlike and won't run out of mana on big pulls without CC.

 

Challenge is a good thing. Wotlk was way too easy..
