    MoneyBookers - refund

I have got problem, because I bought Amazon Gift Card UK (http://www.sythe.org/gift-card-market...) for 430 GBP, but I never have get this product. I have contact with seller, but he told me that he can't send me my money back, because his Skrill account is blocked. What can I do to get back my money, even not all of them? That is very important for me, because I won't have right now enough to pay for my studies. He want to send me my money, but can't. Please, help me. Should I make a police report? Blocked account means, he should do sth wrong, right? My first message was after 2-3 hours from sending money, so I do my best to stopped it.

He send me sth like that: "I just sent them a doc, if it gets accepted then we are good, if not i dont see an option to refund you, so will have to call them and get the transaction refunded, issue is I can't take paypal."
What can I do? If his account is blocked that means there is a chance to get money back, right?

Because My reaction was too fast. First I send him money via MB, but I read somewhere in the website that he can be a scam. So I called 2-3 hours after making transaction about this. They blocked his account (he told me so and send me a screenshot). After 3-4 days he send me a note, that his account have been closed. Last message I got 23 hours ago.

Call and tell them what you've posted here, if they don't refund you, wait a day then claim your credit card was stolen and a purchase was made.

Call first, give them the benefit of the doubt. If that doesn't work, yes. Most of the time stolen card claims are awarded their money back.

I called and their respond, they can't do anything else. They told me that his account is closed and that my money is treated like voluntary service. I will wait 23-24 hours and try to told them about unauthorised logging.

If moneybookers turns out to be a dead end and you have your credit card linked to the moneybookers account you could always try the old "unauthorised transaction" via your credit card.

I told them about unauthorised logging to my MoneyBookers and e-mail accounts (I have got proof for this). They blocked my account and request changing password. I did it, let we see what will be done next. If there will be any doubts I will tell that it could be someone from my environment (brother, sister), but I didn't authorised this operation.

Basically all you have to do now is wait. They should contact you within the next few days with a verdict.

Should I call to them or wait longer? I've got last message 30 hours ago. I got this message: "We kindly ask that you provide us with more information regarding the unauthorized transaction that you reported. Please provide us with a more detailed explanation as to why you consider it to be an unauthorized payment.", so I note message about 4 unathorised attempts (with dates), visiting my e-mail account from Austria IP (really i ve got text about that after logging, two times), almost the same pass in MB and e-mail (so someone could delete or send some messages, difference only last sign in the password), that i wasn't at home from time to time (i wrote exactly when), that i've try to contact with MB account that my money were send to (first blocked, then closed his account) - he wrote first to me, possibility that sb could use my computer (some problems with logging out), last thing - that i'm sure that i didn't authorise this payment.

Do think that it will be enough explanation?

If i won't get any answer until end of tomorrow, should I call to them?

I have got message like this:
"Folowing up on our phone conversation, we must advise that your Skrill account will be terminated as we have found reasonable grounds to discontinue our business relationship. Moreover, we would like to inform that the transaction in question cannot be cancelled, as according to our records it was authorized by you.

Please withdraw your outstanding balance to a bank account in your name. As soon as your current balance is withdrawn, your account will be terminated automatically. Please note that our decision is final and is not a subject of further negotiations."

Could you explain it to me?

What the meant to say was: "You fucked up by calling us the first time, you should have just claimed your account was stolen from the beginning".

So now, i would call your bank and report an unauthorized transaction. Fuck mb, go straight to the bank.

The problem is, my MB account was not connected with Card. I lost 430 GBP. I can't do anything else, yes? I'm an idiot, but it could be a good lesson, don't trust anyone because you can't get your money back if he is a scam/cheater etc. My mistake, I think I'll need to work for 1-2 months to earn that money (i'm a student, so i don't have that much time).

Does it make any sense to go with this to the police? But seller is from different country.
