Fall Thread - Opinions?

Just got back of a very long break/holiday (bout 6 months I think?) and I've gotten straight back down to designing!

First thing I've done is design my fall thread for this year. Yes, it's still summer, but here in the UK we've got storm after storm so I figured it's about time I made the switch.

I went for something very different this time. I stuck with my style for the logo/header but the rest uses an autumn background on a 2d-style design. This time, I decided to use animations too, which I've also added to my signature.

What do y'all think? I can obviously change it over time, but this is my first time in 6 months designing like this so I'm as rusty as I'll ever be!​

 

Looks really nice! Only thing I would do is change the "Order Form" text to match the banner layout. Nicely done though.

 

Thanks! Yup, that was me being lazy, it was from the original layout and I haven't got round to redesigning it yet

 

Imo, I don't like the trees background in the backdrop.
I like the animation at the bottom though

 

Haha fair enough, I love your thread designs but I'm a bit of a newbie with C4D and just use it for the base of my text, would love to know how to do it though!

Animation's actually really simple using photoshop, just takes way longer than it should do (that alone took 30mins+ I think)

Not really a fan of the glow on the edges. Let's take that out. Other than that it's not bad

 

I have to admit the over all design I like. I agree with moonglare that the glow is my only real turnoff.

 

Thanks for the feedback! I did think it wasn't working, I'm not sure if it looks worse without it though, I'll get something sorted asap
