Analysis of losses/Weaknesses of this character

On 03/10/11, I was defeated 5 times in a row (Totally cleaned) vs. a character with the following stats: 74 Attack, 77 Strength, 73 Defense, 77 HP (86 Combat). I had 80 Attack, 60 Strength, 80 Defense, 88 HP (87 Combat). My chance of losing 5 times to this player, assuming a 50% chance of losing, is .5^5 = .03125% = 3% chance. However, he was a lower combat level than I was, so I should have had the advantage. What led to my loss? (1) It could have been bad luck, or (2) His higher strength level allowed him to beat me consistently. I think it was his strength level, but if anyone has a differing opinion, let me know. I will therefore train my strength higher soon. Also, I need to acquire more money .

Background

Staking has been extremely frustrating for me. I tried mage boxing with my other character. I lost 400 million gp in several consecutive duels. I was cleaned, I was disappointed, I was frustrated.
