This thread almost died, try dropping the tip of your symbol that overlaps under the star might give you the depth you need.

 

Sadly, because of the way the shadowing works, the only way to get the perfect effect, I had to merge the star and the logo. What this means is that there is no way to go back through and edit this, to include your suggestion, without starting over again, from scratch.

 

I like your style of sigs. 8/10 only because of what Xjaa said. May i ask where your logo came from? When i see it i think of VE. That would make sence but maybe im wrong.

 

That should make sense, because that is what it's supposed to represent. I made it myself, took about 2 hours of tweaking from the first concept.

 

Very nice vision, 10/10 for the style, 9/10 for the actual photoshopping.

Nice sig, not digging the feel it has to it but the effort you put into the stuff that you create is stunning.
Could you post a version without the 1980 on it?
Just wondering what it would actually look like.

 

It doesn't really look like 1980's, but I like it anyway. I really like the style of signature making you do.
