What the fuck is all these types of "core" music???

What the fuck are all these "core" types of music???

Why the hell am I just hearing about them recently?

 

They're a cooler way of identifying a subsection of a genre that's popular, usually identified by a difference in the instruments, occasionally the vocals.

 

I've never heard of it before. And it sounds gay as shit to me. What happened to just rock, country, metal, grunge, etc?

 

It is gay as shit.

Metalcore is just emo fags trying to pull of heavy metal, with screaming and dodgy fringes.

 

Theres really only two cores that I can actually tolerate and they're hardcore (REAL HARDCORE, like hardcore punk, which pretty much died in the 80's) and Ska-core which is a mix of punk and ska. Pretty much everything else just makes my ears bleed..

 

They all suck except for grindcore and a few select Deathcore bands. Otherwise they are fucking terrible.

Can't forget about Nintendocore either, its godly

Well there is actual Skacore too, its actually pretty good. It sounds like it shouldn't work out at all but it does.

Look up: Ninjaspy - Evolution Of The Skid. Its straight Skacore lol

 

Ninjaspy are a great example of ska-core. They push the limits while still making it sound good.

 

Yeah, they are amazing. I love em, good shit!
