What do y'all do for a living?

Just out of interest, I wanted to know what most sythe users do for a living apart from the obvious online trading

I'll start, I myself work in London full time (9-6) as a digital marketing executive. I mainly do email marketing and data processing so to be specific, I build the full set up of a an email campaign from input about the design, editing the design, copy, turning the design into HTML/CSS, data-mapping the data correctly, loading the data securely onto a Email service provider(Smartfocus, Dotmailer, our clients use different ones) and finally creating the reporting that has a lot of metrics such as open rates, which browser people used to open the email, bounce rates, click through rates, time spent on email, geolocation and so on. I also do a lot of other things but that is my main job.

Had a dozen jobs since I left school a few years ago, probably the one I enjoyed the most was Oyster farming. It's a tough gig but I felt satisfied coming home after a hard days work, not sure I could have done it for the rest of my life though. Have done construction, fencing, road works and delivery driving.

Looking at studying now, got a few rough ideas but slowly getting over the manual labor side of work. Gotta start thinking about the future.

 

That job sounds pretty damn exciting! What's the salary like?

I'm currently in full-time education (being only 17), however I'm working at a restaurant haha, can't complain with the free burgers though!

Hoping to go into software engineering as a university degree, though we'll see where the future takes me.

 

I am a student. Currently an intern as a financial advisor though. Also doing a couple side gigs for some extra income streams.

 

Yea those kind of jobs are great for building mental toughness

That's pretty sick, side gigs must be fun what kind of stuff are you doing specifically?

 

I am an insulation technician. I work 60 hours a week for $19/hr. I have barely any time for anything but I make sure my wife and daughter are well provided for.

 

That's good pay, to just insulate . you do alot of commercial ?

 

Currently a student working part-time as a barista in our local cafe. Just a temporal job until I get my degree.

 

Yeah. I do spray foam, wall bats, extractions, blow ins, everything. I get paid per sq ft. I average $19 but I've made up to $25 and my minimum per hr is $14.

 

You can make almost double that if you get your license and start your own company

 

Goals, lol. I see our material costs, I know. I need the buying power for the equipment at least. Materials I can purchase on a job by job basis.

 

I stake and sell gold.

 

I'm just working in a resturaunt right now but have sworn into the military, so that'll be my life after next year. My other job is out of season rn but I'm a merchandise & sales manager at a concert venue. Hopefully getting a second second job somewhere, maybe something seasonal like stocker at Walmart or UPS assistant

19, I'm currently full-time studying with the goal in mind to become a maxillofacial surgeon, and I got a desk job on the weekend for €22/hour.

 

As in actually fighting or a simple army desk job?
