My PC is going slow

Hi. recently my pc is starting very slow (than other times) so i decided to go to msconfig and uncheck some programs that open at startup. but i had a problem with kaspersky because every time i was unchecking it, it was automatically checking it back (suspecious action). so i decided to unistall it. i couldnt ^_^ i finally used a kaspersky removal tool. I dont know if this was the problem but my pc is still starting slow. I installed AdvancedSystem Care Pro and Malwarebytes Pro, used CCleaner too but they did nothing ^_^ what can i do in this situation?

 

Wipe it clean and reinstall it.

CCleaner is a fantastic tool for getting rid of excess programs and files on your computer.

 

Do what farcast said, clean it out for any malware, get malwarebytes for that Then defrag it using either piriform or just windows.

 

Try Iobit uninstaller works perfectly to remove unused programs and other things as Farcast mentioned CCleaner is a good tool too.

 

CCleaner or a reformat your PC, doubt CCleaner will help a lot, you're better off reformating it find suitable disk for your windows and look up a guide how to do it

 

When all else fails, re-install windows.

lol. my pc hardware is good i dont need new pc.
i've ccleaner, iobit advanced system care pro, malwarebytes pro and i use them frequently. has it matter that my disk is almost full ?

 

Actually OldSchoolGamer, your computer may have good specs but unless you know exactly what to look for with your hard drive, your once fast computer is going to get slower and slower.

A hard drive that doesn't wear with age (I forgot the name of them) is really expensive and most people don't have them unless they specifically bought them.

Basically, don't rule out a worn hard drive if your PC is many years old.

 

It probably doesn't matter that your disk is almost full.
What are your computer specs and what activities run slowly and what activies run at a normal speed?

 

Since when did you need a kaspersky remover tool to uninstall kaspersky? Sounds dodgey.

 

your best bet is to save the stuff you will need or is important and totally reformat your PC. that is by far the best option. also clean it out with computer clean can

 

reinstall your computer with a new clean OS win 7. My computer is slow and this is what I usually do to fix that. Every 6mo.-1 yr is what my friend recommends. He keeps a seperate hdd/ssd for OS so it is easier for him.

 

using Kaspersky Anti-virus as well it's probably the best one, recently renewed my license for 1 year
