My paypal was messed up

So i was using paypal and I had my bank account and old credit card linked to the account. My brother sent me ~$100 and then I spent it on RS and stuff so then he was an ass by doing a charge back.. my paypal was like -$44 and then they froze my account for "fraudulent" activity. After a while, I created a new paypal and I linked it with my new card but however I cannot link my bank account to my account since it says it has already been used.. Is there any free online banking methods that I could use to transfer my paypal money to my bank account? Thanks.

 

Your own brother chargedback on you? I'd first recommend settling out whatever issues you guys have with each other. Secondly, there are sites that sell virtual bank accounts (VBAs) that you might want to look into. They can range anywhere from $20-$50.

 

I think the best way is to tell your brother to cancel the chargeback, thereby putting your original paypal account back to positive and unfreezing your account.

If that's not possible, you can always buy a greenpak card, put money on it, and pay off the original paypal account so it can be unfrozen.

I'm not committing fraud.. My brother lives in hawaii and he is in the navy.. he charged back the $100 he sent me.

You owe paypal money. Deliberately bypassing the security features they have in place to prevent you from opening another account and avoiding to pay what you owe is fraud.

 

Did your brother give a reason for charging back? Also, VBA's seem like an expensive idea, imo you should pay off your old account debt and stick with it, try asking your brother to cancel the dispute and explain to him how you're having issues with paypal.

 

I would never do this to my OWN god damn sister. Your brother doesant seem so bright :/
