My own little army.

Hey everyone, I'm thinking of making my own little bot army. I'll be running on 3 computers, so about 20-30 bots. What should I bot? :/ (Something that's not to difficult to prep. for, (getting accounts ready, etc) but makes decently good GP / hr? thanks everyone,

well the 3 easiest things to start up are fishing, wc, and mining.

 

My friend set up 12 bots, all with similar names (About 7months ago) and we had them follow eachother (Like a train/line) spamming our merchant clanchat. It was super funny.

And possibly, but that's only like 100k / hr..

Which would be like 2.4M / hr, which equals out to about $1.25/hr..

What are your requirements as far as little prep time? I assume combat methods would be out of the picture, since you want to get into it fast.

There are still armies at Sorc Garden, so I assume that is still a good profit.

You could have your bots make cannonballs, tan dragon hides, make planks, make water/earth runes, mine pure essence, make house tele tabs.....There's an endless list of stuff you can do.

My recommendation would be to start them out on different things, that way you can not only see what is more profitable for you but also if one section of your bots get banned you at least have others that haven't been.

If you have any ideas about where you would be interested starting, I will try to help more.

20-30 is really ambitious. You either go for efficient bots that take a long time to prep or mass bots and suck it up. There isn't any public money making method that is easy to prep a bot for and have a high gp/h (I miss sorc garden).

 

Thanks dude, I was thinking about Hides / Cannonballs, or maybe even superheating to 99 mage + smith, then selling the accounts later.. I heard SorcGarden is a high ban rate now though.

 

If you don't want to buy a shit ton of membership and auth codes, just make a bunch of f2p essence miners.

1. They take very little to no preparation at all to make; some nexus resellers even have a bot to do the quest for you

2. You do not need to buy any auth codes; the official kMiner website offers a free essence miner - you just need to create a different email address for each auth code (create 20 email addresses get 20 free essence miner nexus auth codes)

3. No competition; unlike woodcutting or mining other rocks, you will not face competition with other botters (you will collect rune essence at the same rate regardless of how many other people are doing it)

At roughly 35k/h, essence mining is one of the best choices for f2p botting

You don't need to necessarily stick with this, but its a good cheap way to make money to buy membership/auth codes to expand

Meh, even though there's no competition, I believe a Woodcutter using a free script would be a better choice, after the first day I could probably make 50k/hr at oaks, or so.

Yeah it probably is, I had to go there last night for a quest on one of my accounts and saw heaps of bots lol.

I don't know how long power mining to 80 mining takes, but LRC is good money as well. You can pull about 150k-200k an hour in on throw-away accounts.

The selling accounts thing sounds like it could work out, but I think the super heating would lower your profits by a fair bit.

I wonder if there are any low level monsters that are at least decent for gold farming, that would certainly open up a lot more options (especially since when your bots are higher levels, you can move to higher monsters). I heard Banshees are very profitable, but those require Priest in Peril.

If I think of any other random little ways to make money, I'll post them...Not much else to do while I sit at work lol.

Secondly, yeah, I would be interested in making accounts (getting them to combat 70-80) then killing monsters for loot.

I may look into Banshees.

 

you'd need some beastly laptops to run 10 bots on each of them.

The average laptop can run 2-4 laptops with ease, anything past that is just killing the laptop.

I suggest using a VPS/Dedicated Server

 

Maybe I'll get PC's instead of laptops, then.

 

Yah Id be surprised if you can run that many bots on 3 laptops. I run 15 bots with 3 laptops and that is about my max.

 

Laptop's overheat even if using an extra fan.. plus the price for a laptop is mainly in the screen!

If you don't have the computers yet, and are going to buy.. I'd suggest one good computer.

Spend $1600 and get a computer that can run 20-30 bots
*Smaller electricity bill as well =)

My suggestion would be a rune essence bot farm, it would proberbly be the safest, easiest thing to set up.

I'd almost consider going with a server config. Otherwise, focus on RAM (at least 16GB for 20 bots), and cpu. CPU might be the trickiest, but an i7 or even i5 Sandy Bridge overclocked could probably handle them with use less cpu enabled and such. But definitely get a desktop or two over laptops.
