    My new laptop. How well did I do?
    Basically I want to know if this is a good laptop. ( CBF with custom building a laptop as of now. )

    Dell XPS 15 Laptop
    Core i7-2620M 2.7GHz
    1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M Graphics
    2.0MP Webcam
    9-in-1 Card Reader
    JBL Speakers
    8 GB Memory
    750 G hard drive
    15.6 inch screen

    Eventually planning on custom building a badass desktop for a gold farm :)

    Building a custom laptop, you would go through hell trying to do it, and would cost a fortune.
    What's the GPU model? it's a pretty nice lappy, if it starts overheating grab a cooling pad, laptops are prone to overheating.

    Hmm sounds alright... I've always found HP to have the same, if not better, for a cheaper price, if you know what you're doing. I've been thinking of getting a nice HP with a Quad-Core myself =p.

    Sager has good gaming laptops, check them out.

    And 1GB NVIDIA graphics tells us nothing, we need the exact card information.

    Alright GPU for a laptop, but doesn't compare to something like a GTX 485M or a Radeon HD 6770M.

    They're expensive though Killdank, and why no 6970m? or 6990m(yes thats coming out apparently)

    But would play most simple games(CODs, etc) and shit on a fair settings at native res.

    Pretty nice laptop if you scored it under $1k or so. GPU kind of sucks tbh, definitely not geared towards high end gaming, but I guess that's like 95% of laptops even when advertised as a "gaming" laptop lol. It should serve you well no doubt for general purposes though.

    What the fuck. I've got 8GB RAM and 4.4 GHz, it's makes me to think that he need to upgrade the processor just even though.

    Well you would know that laptop & desktop cpus are SO SO SO different.
    You should know it's a pain in the ass to upgrade laptop CPUs.
    You should know that you cant clock a lappie cpu at 4.4, it'll overheat.
