Jagex really did a mass ban in Soul Wars.

Good find, I was gonna get an Upgrade and get finish up one of my HP Pures, but now I'm gonna wait, or possibly do it manually D: .

 

xD. That was actually me on my account. I went into Mod Mmg's clan and I saw Aja and players talking about botting so I just added her and had the idea of asking few questions.

 

pmods don't know anything, they are not a reliable source of info at all.

Ya I don't know if they they really know that much. Although the mass ban was legit I think. So many people got banned.

 

Nais find. I do believe there was a mass ban too. I just don't believe all of Jagex's bullshit about a new detection system. Pretty much all the bans were by hand or from reports by pmods.

They have access to PMod forums, etc. I'm sure they learn some stuff.

 

You can't say they know nothing. They have a much higher lickely hood of knowing this stuff than the average player and having access to the mod forums will most likely supply them with this information.

I reckon what was said was true.

 

Pmod forums really ain't that special and i doubt they were told about it when it happened.

 

I saw a picture of one of the J-mods themselves saying they "banned 6,000 accounts this week"

Had one of four accounts banned, on the 20th august. No need to lie about it, 20 attack 80+ strength, My bot got stuck in a non sw world for like 8 hours so probally banned for that.

 

Number is probably exaggerated imo.

 

I'm pretty sure they did an overall massban. not just soulwars.

 

Truth, many of my friends, legit or not, have been getting banned at soulwars, Pest control, Or Hunting, I have warned them of the ban rate, but they didn't care..

 

yeah, this is why a lot of people are getting banned. THEY DON'T CARE anymore. its really bad for the bot community, using a bot is all about being sneaky and theres just so many again.. they're dominating regular players, meaning they're more obvious to even the most novice eye..

people are becoming greedy and mass botting, giving off all of us with a strong noticeable scent.. jagex's just gotta sniff us out now..

 

Nice find but it was already aware to me that they did this because my 99 str pure was banned on the night of the soul wars massacre.

 

Well i beleved it as i hear cose so so many ppl botting sw and hunter.

 

Jagex just blind banned people at SW. There's no freaking way to check up over 6000 accounts within one week to have evidences of botting. I think it's just completely ridiculous.
