I never thought it was true, But it is.

Recently I swapped accounts with some fuckwit. He recovered it obviously and I was thinking fuck me did I just lose my account it has no recoveries or email. Tried the appeal and just because it had the same I.P and same address since when I first made it, it automatically gave the account to me so really I would never, ever, ever buy an account of Sythe.Org it'll be instant recover if they want it back. Also I never had Recoveries/Emails ever on the account just suicide botted the babe so it just shows you that your never safe with any account trades on sythe... Even though I was legitimately going to sell the account and the cockblock got his account back so why not get mine

 

You're behind the curve on this. I recovered my old account that I hadn't been on in 4+ years with just an ip, address, and ISP information. Account trading has never been safe.

 

So true... so true man thats why I do 99 combat services getting any skill 85+ to 99's for like 60m good profit and fast <3 same ammount of time as selling an account and guaranteed money... I'll still try sell my account iswell tho

 

Account trading has never been safe, that's why in every trade you have to take into account who you are trading with and the legitimacy of the other party

 

Well, always be prepared for account scams like this. Thankfully, you were lucky by having the same I.P address when you created the account.

And this would have taught us lessons on how to counter a scam in any case. Of course people could use this to scam and recover their own accounts. >.<

Well, not necessarily. If you trade with trusted users that aren't shady, issues probably wouldn't arise.

 

I found this out the hard way when an account I got a chaotic/quest cape on got recovered.

 

Well really I have no intentions to recover my accounts I'm selling cause I've alreaddy made deals with 2 people to get me a firecape+kiln for 25M and 37-91dung for 105m and the accounts that im selling are 50m combined so really why would I recover to B-grade accounts when I have an A-grade account. Reality is I am a newcomer but by the end of this year I should have 50+ vouchers and 1K posts and 50+ donator. I'm aiming to become very trusted

 

I trust O Rapist O, he is currently training my main, and has already got more str xp on it then ive got in like 2 years playing it, admittitdly i didnt really like combat but still, 92-98 in like 6-7 days

basically all the other information doesn't matter except for your IP adress, I once bought an account and it got recovered after like 3 month in my hand, yet jagex ignored me with all of my information.

Not always, but yes. It helps A LOT.

But Rapist, you're right. Jagex's recovering system is just too easy if you are the original owner. Even if you trade a moderator and for two years the account works great, the moderator might leave/be banned on Sythe and just get his account back. It's a really sad reality because account sales are such a great part of this website, but it will never be safe.

The staff are really trying to make sure members know how dangerous it is to trade accounts, just look at Keros "Accounts are always recoverable" thread in every section. If only we could get everyone to read them.

 

9/10 accounts get recovered, it really depends on how much you trust the other person. Me personally I would never purchase an account of a newer member especially someone who had joined in the prior week or month. I've purchased 7 accounts and all but 2 have been recovered.

 

buying accounts is obsolete... why not just buy a well made bot and make 5 accounts?
