is PKing worth it anymore?

i was originally trying to make a ice barrage/dds strength hybrid before the PK update a long time ago with bounty hunter.

i am thinking of trying to do it again but is it worth it now with bounty hunter? what im saying could i make alot of mills doing this like people could with the old PKing?

Pures are really good for PVP but they seem to get loot. However, I have seen alot of pures getting good loot. So If I were you, I would go ahead since pures are fun to make and they can be rewarding. If not you can always go rune-pure

 

You are completely wrong.

I am 90-95-1 87 cb pure , and guess what , if i pk all day i lose a little more over 1m risking 75k every fight .

Why is that happening ? The pking with pure does not pay out - like today , i killed guy with fury , torags full , ss , firecape and guess what i got ? iron skirt and attack potion (1) . I make ALOT of kills. But alot kills doesn't mean you will get good loot. Plus pjers wastes food alot , as well as prayer pots and so on.

I will be selling this pure next week and going back to my main as being pure now only provides fun - you will not get profit of this. In other words , i think jagex actually found the way to kill pures : good loot is easily achievable at long fights with great risks , and that's something pures will never have.

EXACTLY.

Pures survived through a lot of Jagex's updates, including the removal of the wildy.

I don't know if anyone remembers, but the week after they removed the old wildy was the funest time I have ever had.

Bounty Hunter on every world and completely multi, me and my clan would pk non stop and every time I left BH, I'd leave atleast 200k richer.

However, they killed BH by making it solo and only 1 world for p2p/f2p, and this PvP update is designed to make mains get better stuff, as main fights last way longer, pures were designed to kill quickly, and not using defense.

I still have a pure, but hardly go on it. As much as I hated mains, and thought that pures were the real deal, most of my pure friends are now mains and sadly I am one now

If you are planning on pking for profit, zerker pures are the way to go.

 

If you kill someone with that , trust me - you will never leave unless you will be teleported after death.

There is no way you will survive 180 secs after being noticed by pen hunters.

Easiest would be to forget it or pk with in BIG crowd.

 

well i dont know how pking works anymore, if i was level 75 i could rip people 70 - 80, could level 100s attack me?

So if you were lvl 75 , 90's could..

Pking works like this : you spec with 30 hp your enemy and you get bsed by nerd dbower , you die , you cry , you logout.

 

i would make your account a barrow pure. im a barrow pure atm, and i get deacent kills even when they dont have 75k on them.
pures are nerfed to much :/ i played for 2 days on my hybrid, lost about 2m(just in pots and food! without getting no good kills).

 

in bounty hunter you could make alot of money... It is all about strategie.. If you can keep a pure melee away from you while you are barraging him he is going to die... no doubt about it...

 

Of course its worth it.
So its a little harder now then it use to be, so what!
Work at it, and achieve your goals.
Dont let a little extra work get in your way.

 

I wouldn't suggest PvP but in Bh I wouldn't really suggest a "Pure"
Either get some defence along with that or you could try...
If all goes well you'll be owning other noobs

 

lol yeah im just wondering if i should do it or not, i already have 40 attack, 47str, 78 mage, 45 prayer... just dont wanna put in all the time then its a fail idea

 

Nope the best way to make money now is to Auto all day long.

Perm banned or 10 days banned? Anyway I would suggest barrows are the real thing for p2p pking and even f2p.

yeah my auto got perm banned straight away only got appology and lasst appeal straight 10 black marks

 

I think no matter what Jagex does, it will always be worth it for someone, now with the new PvP it's worth it for tanks but you just have to go with the flow
