There are 2 scam reports about One guy since yesterday and they haven't even been looked at it. I honestly don't care if you don't have time for them or some other excuse like that, if thats the case then make more people mods because its obviously not getting handled. Pretty funny how I see a scam report which was waay after mine get handled before mine, and before you post something dumb I had all the evidence and followed the format. It happens sometimes, sorry, the Staff are only human. Normally the staff are very on top of the Scam report section, but sometimes we do lose grasp of our efficiency. However, I believe you think processing scam reports is really easy and you could probably do it yourself, thats well and good, but Its not a nice task, its tiring. Unfortunately, hiring more mods wont fix the problem, Its primarily the job of The Global Staff.
Well, Karl while that is right, it seems since FireZ, Gohan and Plznate have left staff that it is very slow. I am not saying more mods will help, but it seems like the Globals beside N4n0 avoid it.
As i said, many staff hate it and even new staff grow to hate it, its very tedious. Some staff grew to do it, as for myself, when I get back, I'm going to be doing it.
If you were in their shoes you probably wouldn't want to spend hours on end a day for no pay (at least i think there isn't any) going through scam reports, it's not an easy thing to do.. Give them a break.
Trying to manage the website is a very difficult process, and it only takes time. You will receive the help you need, but not until a staff member is available to help you.
Scam reports arent the only things staff do, We're actually given rather a liquid choice in what to do, I think you're right, and Globals should concentrate on them.
http://sythe.org/forumdisplay.php?f=273 is the primary responsibility of myself and all of the other sectionals. Seeing as it currently has 8 pages, you can see why the Globals are getting not much help in their primary responsibility.
In some point I do agree with more staff being picked. In other point I'm thankful for the staff we have. In another point I wonder what's been happening lately in the RaS section? I mean for over 3 days, not even 1 report got replied.
I fail to see how answers like, it's hard, they're doing the best they can, or they don't want to, are acceptance reasons for having pages full of scam reports. The truth is that it isn't being handled as efficiently as it should be, and something does need to be changed. No where are we saying the mods are bad people, or doing a horrible job, we're simply giving you feedback (hence the forum name) on an issue that most of the community sees as an issue.
managing is hard. mods cant do everything. also how about the buyer do there part? i always check Report forum before i even talk to someone about a trade. Mods dont need to hold there hands the whole time, check for yourself, and they'll ban them when they can manage it.
Thats good. I understand not liking doing all of those. It is good that N4N0 is doing them, even though 1 person is not enough.
