question about donations

hello ..
1st of all thanks for creating this cool place
my question :
how can i donate via pp ? like i couldnt find out
and what's the benifit of donating $5 ?

You're not currently eligible to donate with Paypal (must already be a donator).
There are, however, other methods such as cash in mail and RSGP payments.

Benifits of donating include a new section of the forum-- the donators lounge; increased PM inbox size and Avatar limits; and a $5 donator rank among other things.

 

To add to the above, you must also have been a registered member for more than 15 days and have 100+ post count (as well as the $5 donor). The easiest way everyone uses to get to $5 is via RSGP donation.

 

so if i earn the $5 donor by donating rsgp i can then donate via paypal?

I send him $5 via paypal he send the RuneScape gold to Sythe and he say this is from E.J as i don't know anything about RuneScape and i dont even have an acc

 

That's known as donating on behalf of someone else. Anyone can do it (provided you trust them and they themselves can donate via PP). They only need to PM Matthew and state the recent donation was on your behalf.

RSGP is RuneScape in-game gold. When you give them RSGP, they will take it and then donate the equally worth amount to Sythe for you. I believe they can enter the donations manually for people, Matthew (the head of donations) only needs to log on and approve them all.

 

i got it but u didn't get me .. what am saying is that i don't know anything about RuneScape so idk where to get the gold from and idk the prices and how could i receive the gold from the seller and send it while i don't even got an acc?

 

If you don't know anything about RuneScape it might be worth just finding someone you trust to donate via PP for you on your behalf, it would be much easier and far less hassle for you to go through if you wish to donate to Sythe.
