My Gambling Addiction - Youll be surprised how much Ive lost

It's an issue what a lot of people seem to have, hences why businesses like runebet, BBB and Tokenbets are running so well. Imo the only way you can control it and still gamble is just to set a limit when you gamble. Say you start with 1B, set yourself a (reasonable) goal like: 'At 4B I will stop'. And as soon as you hit that 4B mark, cash out inmediately, resist that feeling that you can win more. Because say you continue and u go from 4B to 3B you are going to keep on playing because you want that 4B back and most of the times that's the moment where you get cleaned and you regret it afterwards.

Also you can't really say that you lost X amount of $ if you didn't cash it out. At the moment you were gambling the money wasn't in your hands so you didn't have it yet. And for the love of god, when you have a lot of Gp, start to cash out some. And inmediately use that money to buy a new TV/Laptop/Desktop or w/e is expensive enough so you can't re-buy the gold back etc.

Also selling gold and than buying gold again to gamble with is very insufficient. I don't wanna feed your addiction but might be better for you to use something like www.primedice.com . That way you avoid the making loss part on selling your gp for quite less than what you bought it for.

 

Limited gambling is the best, have a pull out figure in your head

 

Update: I managed to gamble a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars in an hour, the next hour, I managed to get that to 35K USD. After buying 2B, staking it to 12B, I was happy. I managed to win a 20.5B Pot vs an Xer, who I am pretty sure ripped me off, but hey, I won. I managed to lose myself in a happy dazed feeling, I restaked the 20.5B and lost. I had very bad lag, but continued to stake, so he got pid win. I then went and lost the 34.5K USD aswell, - Now I'm at 17K USD and I have most likely learned my lesson. I am most likely never going to any form of gambling website (as soon as I cashout these remainder 33 BTC (17,600 USD).

 

I never profit, like i barely do.. hence why I quit lol

Wow bro thats a pretty intense addiction for such a young age, I used to gamble alot too, SMOKING MILS FTW lol I rolled with them for a long time. If I had to add it all up it would be a couple bil n losses nothing like yours, I also used to have a bad scratch off habit. Nowadays i traded it all for a Marijuana Habit lol I dunno if that was finacially a better choice or not. I think some people have addictive personalities and will almost always have some sort of habit but they are many places that can help you, You are young you stand a greater chance than most to overcome your problems.
Try to find something less expensive or free that still feeds your compulsions I know it sounds a lot easier than it is, but like I said you can get help my friend and I hope you do. Before some Mafioso from a Casino give you concrete shoes and feeds you to the sharks.

Had an issue with gambling all my profits hosting back in the legal days of gambling. In Heinsight (however its spelt), was a horrible idea and I probably would've gotten a bigger name for myself if I didn't do that back in the day. Luckily now I realized its a lot better to just gamble when the odds are in your favor haha.

Yeah you are the OP i glanced at the top of the second page not the first just then lol what kind of BTC gambling were you doing? I always wondered if the was BTC gambling sites like the Rs ones.

 

I've lost probably 4-5 grand in total throughout my RS gambling career.
In reality there are many factors that can come into this.
Most of the time people obviously gamble to double their money and become rich.
The other portion of people like me just enjoy the risk and betting in general and meeting new people. It all depends on how you like it..

 

just make sure if you're gonna gamble you do it with me since I'm a born loser and you'll be printing money.

I can legitimately say now that I lost over "60k" as the money was in my Bitgo account before I cashed it in, (this crap happened within the past 2 weeks)
