    Hey, need some help here.

    So basically I am 20 years old, I weigh 107.1 KGs, I used to weigh ~~ 112 KGs a month ago.

    I need to lose this fat, especially on my thighs and belly really fast. To be exact. This is august 13'th now, By the end of the year, I NEED to look like a normal guy, instead of this pig I am at the moment... I have met a wonderful girl online, I have seen her, she hasn't seen me, I wanna meet her IRL, but I am too scared of being rejected. In the mirror I think I don't look that bad on my face at least, but when I make a photo I look fucking disgusting... I really need some help, to look nice when we meet.

    I've been skipping late meals, I never eat after 6 pm for a month now

    I run 4-5 times a week. I do 50-100 crunches nearly every day.

    Not sure what I should do, but I need to get to nearly 90 KGs by the end of the year.

    I have 1.89m height btw.

    Can I do this? I really need your help guys.

    6'2 at 230 isn't fat at all.. I'm 5'11 and 192 with 9% body fat and I wish I were bigger.

    I wouldn't worry about burning off the weight but instead toning your current build.

    So you are holding off on meeting this chick for 4 months? How are you going to manage that and how are you planning to keep her interested for 4 whole months without a face to face?

    Firstly the whole skipping late meals is a myth, the only reason you should avoid eating late is because generally a person has already gotten all their macronutrients in during the day so eating at night usually puts them into a surplus. As long as when you go to sleep and end the day you are in a caloric deficit you can lose weight.

    Doing crunches won't get rid of fat around your gut, lowering your overall body fat % will but in doing so it will get rid of fat from all over your body, you can't isolate the fat on your stomach.

    Kudos on shedding some weight so far, you've already started. The #1 thing for cutting however is being in the calorie deficit. Do you know your maintenance calories? You can get a decent estimate in my opinion from determining your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) here http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ and then applying the Harris Benedict Equation to it found here http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/harris-benedict-equation/. Do note however this isn't going to be 100% but it's been the most accurate for me. For example myfitnesspal suggested I take in 2300 calories I think it was to maintain my weight, I've determined my maintenance to be somewhere between 2800-3200 through trial and error. Using this equation mine came out just shy of 3200. Now you have a decent idea of your maintenance calories you need to eat below that. Generally speaking a deficit of 500-750 seems to be the safe amount. Cutting too fast can lead to loose skin, etc.

    Cardio and exercise are great for helping with cuts as they burn even more calories and help speed up your metabolism a bit.

    Do you only want to slim down though? Do you want to add a bit of muscle too?

    If he has no muscle then yes, he is some-what fat (not gonna sugarcoat it). I was 216 lbs at 6'2 with no muscle and while I wasn't obese or anything, I hated how I looked. He's clearly not at 9% body fat.

    Toning? u wot m8? The "toned" look is merely being at low body fat. He could lower his body fat overall by building some muscle but to "tone" as you want to put it he would actually need to burn off some fat.

    I believe she will easily wait for meeting me 2-4 months. I'd say 2 is minimum for me to lose some weight and perhaps look good enough that I can at least look in the mirror. She's the only motivation strong enough for me to start thinking about my body. I wanna look good for her, and I love her.

    I just want to slim down, muscle can come along the way, but I do not "Aim" for it. Anyway, I might meet her a little sooner, she's younger than me, she's not even adult yet. She says she loves me, she hasn't seen me yet, but we share a lot of our interests, and we always have something to talk about.

    Thanks for the Kudos, appreciated, especially because it's my first time actually doing some work... I think the problems with me being fat now, aren't even from me eating too much - It's because I drank too much coca-cola (1L+ a day), and I haven't had much sports.

    Good to hear man. The source of motivation doesn't matter, just the fact that it exists. Personally I started after wanting to for ages after a break-up, channeled the feelings and also helped to better myself. While I am somewhat doubtful you do truly love each other having never met each other in real life, best of luck to you two.

    Ah yeah that much soda can never be good for you with inactivity alongside it. My diet isn't too drastically different from my high school days of gluttony but with exercise alongside it and better nutrition I find it isn't too hard to lose weight, I think you may be in the same boat being so tall also.

    No worries man, feel free to hit me up if you ever need any other help... Or post here again, this is my 2nd home after the spam forum lol

    Yeah, I am not exactly sure what this is either, but I sure as hell hasn't met a girl like her, who plays games, watches anime, is smart, talks with me on skype for ... 10 hours a day for 2 weeks now. And is of course, beautiful.

    So while I consider myself lucky for even meeting her in a game, in a huge world, she seems to be my second half, and if I meet her IRL, I want her to be happy with what she sees, not disgusted.

    I shall continue my journey with weight losing, and will post here my results, every week or so, an update of my weight, if you will.

    I am probably gonna limit my food supply quite a bit, even though I risk loose skin, I hope a little bit of sports will help with it. I need to be ready as soon as possible, unfortunately.

    For real though, I can't know when (or if) she will get bored with this, whatever this is, so I am limited by time.

    You may think that because this is over the internet it isn't real, and I do respect that, but I have never had a feeling like this before, I am really sad when I'm not talking with her, and my life has more meaning with her in it. So yeah, for me it's love.

    BTW. It's also worth noting, that she doesn't expect me nor wants me to be 6'pack dude that goes to gym everyday, in fact, I wouldn't want to look like that. I just want to look slim, with just SOME muscule, not too much.

    He can increase lean muscle mass WITHOUT gaining fat, losing overall body fat w/o losing an insane amount of weight.

    doing crunches wont help you buddy, Do some basic strength training and NUTRITION. NUTRITION is the key to losing weight. Keep your carbs low, protein high
    Keep up with the cardio, do 30 minutes of walking on incline a day.

    In my honest opinion, if youre doing this all for a girl, the results will be short and short-lived. Do it for yourself; to be a healthier you.

    Girls come and go, ever since I reached my goals as far as aesthetics go, they come and go really fast. But health is until you die.

    Make up for your lack of appearance with class and personality.

    edit - another thing.
    If she has been fine without seeing you all this time and shares the same hobbies as you, i can tell you right now, looks wont matter.
    She probably knows what shes getting into, show her a picture of yourself and ease her into it lol. You can lose 6-8 pounds a month in a healthy manner with a strict diet and exercise regime.

    Hey, need some help here.

    Skipping meals will not help u as u compromise on ur health. Abstain from all sugar sweets soft drinks snacks and crunches does not help u at all ur actually putting on muscle which actually makes u look fatter. Also when running it's better to do a longer but slower pace run then a shorter but fast paced run

    What was your inspiration to start lifting? To be honest as long as his inspiration shifts later (generally once the habit is formed) I don't think the initial source matters too much. As long as it shifts though, solid advice. It's a big pool out there, there's always another chick.

    Hey, need some help here.

    Updates:

    08.06 - 108.6 KGs
    08.12 - 107.1 KGs
    08.16 - 106.4 KGs

    I am eating low amounts of of any kind of food, without any sugar. I just drink tea, with 2 spoons of sugar per 1.5 liters.

    I don't drink water or anything else, just tea.

    I eat chicken breasts cut into pieces with some souce and maccarroni/potatoes for dinner, small portion.

    WAZA bread, (not sure what it's called in your countries) for breakfast with some ham or other kinds of meat or with 2-3 eggs.
    Sometimes some cereal, but I try to avoid since it has sugar.

    For evening meal I usually eat vegetables + something, but I really avoid eating much before sleep, since I want to have the feeling of losing weight while sleeping.

    Can anyone give me any improvemental tips based on what I wrote?

    I have also been swimming today, and will be at least once a week + running several times a week.

    You feel me bro - I don't want to look like UBER OVERPOWERED STRONG MAN, I just want to look normal, be slim, fuck the muscules, I want to be small again... Like I used to be like 8 years ago...

    I want to feel wanted by women again... And I used to look attractive in the past, before I gained lots of weight.

    Btw, Update 2:
    She has seen me, and still talks to me and says she loves me, so I assume that my looks don't matter THAT much to her, but I know she would rather to see me slim rather than obese...
    For my luck, I have already lost a lot of fat it seems since last month, and my face has already reduced a lot to this moment.

    Aslong as you are getting in some exercise on a regular basis (which you are) and are losing weight you're doing fine. I'd recommend tracking your macros (takes about 2 minutes once you've got everything set up) to know for sure you are making your calorie deficit but it's up to you, sounds like you don't need it just yet.

    Yeah that's what I thought. Just to clarify though, lifting weights for a few months isn't going to make you into an uber overpowered strong man haha. Fair enough about feeling wanted, that's something everyone can relate to. Keep going man!

    Congrats on overcoming your fear of having her see you. Rejection is something all of us hate but your leap of faith paid off.
