pixle godsword

its just something a made just now.. i used to be a really good pixel artist but i havent done it in a while since i quit rs and i usually did rs themed pieces..

i might get back in to it..

rate, give feedback.. etc etc


oh and i know its not very good so only constructive feedback.. dont tell me i suck.. because i know that already

I think that the gold star at the end of the handle should have more of a gradient, if you get what I mean.

 

yeah... i spent quite alot of time on that..
i just couldnt get it the way i wanted to.

i think i made it a little bit too small.. theres not much room for any more shades

EDIT: i think i could make it a little more obvious though.. make it so there is more contrast between the shades

 

I think that's pretty neat, and this in fact does NOT suck.

Just make it so it's easier to notice the shades, but not completely obvious.

(p.s. you can't really see your name, try to make that stand out a bit)

 

yeah its a little too small...

you gotta look REALLY close to see it..


i tried to each half of the name the opposite color from the other side of the blade, but that was even more invisible.. so i darkened/lightened each side a bit..

ill try darken and lighten a little more but i dont want to make it black..

and if i shift the name a bit, i can maybe add 1 or 2 pixles of height to the text.. that would help a bit

 

If you can send me the one without the name, I can put it in there without it being too obvious.

I'd do it with the current, but people would wtf to your name being there twice.

personally i think that those cool photoshop sigs are better.. but since i cant make any, i started making pixel art..

ill make another one tomorrow.


any ideas on a theme/subject would be nice

btw, why is sythe so slow? its always slow at this time...
good thing im GMT +2 so im usually not on so much at this time

Holy snap, that's REALLY nice!!!!!

The only thing I'd change is maybe add a bit more shading to the blade itself and make the shine/gleam/star or w/e you want to call it more brighter and maybe have it at the tip of the sword.
