Year 12 Major Work

Ok so i am in year 12 at school which is my final year

anyway i have Art as one of my subjects and its one of my best

anyway im not very good at using photoshop but i thought i would give it a go at doing my major work

so in my work im trying to show how real life people are being killed and how some people have no emotion and that killing people is like a game to some people

so i have gotten real pictures and put a game userface on it
anyway i would like people thoughts on what i should change etc thank you

The message is strong, however some people might not get it. Interesting idea.

btw what i havent shown in this pic is that i have a bullet counter aswell so yeh it shows how mudch bullets r left

 

I think that the scene should be changed to something in the late day, looking down a street in poverty.

Very strong message, but could work on the healthbars to add the image more strenght to make it feel like the games now, as the killings are happening as we speak.

This sends a strong message, you should post this around an army sort of website and see the response.

I think you could change the setting though but I'm really not sure what picture you could use.

 

Like all the other people have said, the message is strong, and i like the idea that they are making all these FPS games and people are getting into it and thinking killing is fun, ect

 

Honestly, I feel you have tried to be creative in your message but totally failed. It's nothing like a game user face. Everything needs neatening up in my opinion and moving around. At the moment to me it's just a picture of a dead person.

 

I would change the interface so that it looks a lot more like Counter Strike Source e.g:

As it is now, it's clear to me that it is meant to imitate a game, but isn't convincing.

I would also find another image, although I don't know what to suggest.

 

The meaning is that in games war is found as fun and all kids play.
But in reality it is horrible, so the source userface isnt really needed I guess
