So anyways, I was banned for scamming. I don't really feel like typing a TL;DR so I'll try and sum it up as quick as possible. I received a pumpkin. I thought I paid. I went and ate dinner, laptop died. Come back, get messaged I have a scam report. Immediately try and contact the guy who lives in Europe. Get banned. He finally gets on, I have Official Middleman Ix Syed xI log onto my RuneScape account and refund what I "scammed." He's happy. I'm still banned.

It could be assumed Harped was being his trolling self. Out of all the days, I don't think it's a coincidence today is April first. He wanted to waste our time and worry the seller to make the spam forum laugh.

Or isn't it possible he's refunding because he got caught? It's hard to ban influential members.

Yes the guy was refunded, but I'd like to take another look at the case. How can you think you paid? It's very clear when money is sent on Paypal... Obviously the transaction wasn't "done" and it is strange to leave before confirmation. Most traders don't leave immediately after payment.

Jake claims to have left for dinner and return to have the laptop dead. This means he left his MSN online, but the screenshots all show him as offline. The last screenshot shows tahar's messages grouped, meaning he sent them close together. Odds are Tahar started taking screenshots right after the last message therefore making it unlikely Jake's laptop suddenly died. ie, the conversation didn't go like "you there?" pause "are you going to pay me?" pause, etc.

Not to mention, if your computer was close to dying during a trade, wouldn't you have warned the seller about it?

Either way he should remained banned for a few days while we review the case.
