    Hi. I do account share with a friend, thats how i got 99 att and str. But jagex keeps locking my acc coz they think its stolen. Do they lock acc coz of ip changes? I mean i couldplay rs in libary, internet cafe, at home, at friends home and they would lock it too?

    maybe your friend just happens to login on the other side of the planet?


    Err..but My account was never locked, and I logged in .. on the other side of the planet, literately (well, 6-7 Thousand miles)

    yes it is true, my friend does log in from the other side of the planet... literally. and we do it instantly as well. does jagex recongnise this? weve shared for 2 yrs and this has never happened...

    also i am concerned about this becasue i want to buy some rs2 gp from r2p and dont wanna have lots of cash on an acc that is going to get constantly locked.

    I don't think so because people have dynamic ip addresses which means that it changes every time you connect to the internet.

    Well if its only the first time its happened then I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it continues to happen, stop sharing.

    Jagex does seriously not care about Account SHARING/
    I have shared all my accounts for over 3 years with friends , I have never EVEN gotten a warning or got banned.

    I have only got my account locked because i sended in to much recovery appeals.

    That's treu, they think it's stolen if they get so many appeals, just for one account.
    The IP difference also count for a bit.
