I dislike The Beatles.

Apparently, everyone loves The Beatles, except me. I just have never really liked them. I respect them for how they changed music and everything, but most of their songs are just them high out of their minds making songs. Yeah, they made some good harmonies, and poetic lyrics, but I still find their songs, well, dull. I've just never been able to get into them.

Yeah, I'll probably receive hate for this thread, but I could swear most people just say they like them because everyone else say they like them, and are afraid to say they dislike them because people'll be like "dude wtf is wrong with u"

And no, I don't listen to Justin Bieber.

 

I really feel the same. Theres a couple songs i like by them but other than that i don't like there music.

 

the beatles are without a doubt LSD music.
there's no possible way to understand it without taking LSD and listening to it.

See the reason many parents love the beatles is because back in the 60s they were on LSD while listening to them.. it was a normal thing back then and everyone did it. Though alot of parents won't admit now days that it was like that.

Lol, I think that a lot of Beatles songs can be appreciated without taking lsd. @OP yeah a lot of say they like the Beatles because they think it's cool to like retro music, and don't actually listen to them at all.

I'm not at all a fan either.. some songs are alright, like helter skelter, lady madonna, etc, but most of it is just boring IMO

 

Agreed. The Beatles suck, they simply emerged to the music scene at a convenient time.

 

I'm not a big beatles fan myself, If I were my age when they were BIG, I'd love them, but for all your druggies, try listening to Number 9 by the beatles on acid or lsd

Everyone has different opinions on music. Though there really isn't anything to not like about The Beatles.

 

Why should anyone be arguing over your opinion?

Good for you that you don't like them, neither do I, and I'm sure millions out there don't.

 

Beatles make a lot of ballads. Which are some of my favorite kind of songs. Not all of their songs are amazing, though.

 

Music wouldn't be what it is today without a lot of things, but if you're going to talk about drugs that really affected the music scene, the first thing that comes to mind wouldn't be psychedelics. Opiates and stimulants effected music more then psychedelics.

 

I agree with you. They are way over-rated. I find their songs boring too. Only a few songs i think are decent.
