    Hey, so I just recently bought a Canon Rebel T2i and started dabbling into true photography...

    Can anyone evaluate these shots and give me directions on how I could improve..

    (Note, these haven't been touched up in photoshop yet)

    You should get permission from the children's parents if you're gonna share these online. You could get in all kinds of trouble for posting them without it.

    Composition and lighting could go better - first one's quite nice since the child's left eye is the focal point, nice, crisp and accordant with the rule of thirds. Second one is slightly less interesting, with the placement, background and composition needing work.

    Otherwise, a great start dude.

    I already have, they were for the goldberg family news letter, and the release form said we have permission to distribute them in any way we see fit


    I'll work on composition, gotta find a good tutorial because I don't really know what that is haha

    Work on composition. What type of camera do you have? SLR?

    cutting off parts of a photo can make it look more dynamic in some cases
