Using Ventrilo Properly

Hey guy's, here is my biggest guide yet, how to use ventrilo.

What is it?
Ventrilo is an online program that allows user's to chat with each other, wether tehy are in-game or not. You can either communicate through typing or speaking by using ventrilo.

The Step's
Step one:
Firstly, click on the first little arrow beside User Name.


Step two:
Nextly, write in your desired username and press enter. In the Phonetic section, write a message if you wish. Note - This will be displayed each time you log on a server.


Step three:
Thirdly, go down to the Server section, and click on the little arrow.


Step four:
In the Name section, write in Sythe, or what ever server's name you would like to connect to.


Step five:
Next, you have to find the server's IP and PORT. Once you find those, paste them into the section's. Note - Their may be a password.


Step six:
Once you are done everything from step five press ok. This will take you back to the main screen. For the next part, click on the setup button.


Step seven:
Once the setup menu has opened, press on the Push-to-talk-to Hotkey.
Down below, their will be a little box that says Hotkey on it. Click in their, and choose any key on your keyboard or mouse to use. Note - they key that you set will need to be pressed if you want to talk to someone.

It's much better than your other guides about something to do with Dry Ice, because this can be quite useful for me

Hmm, nice real detailed guide. and i finally, i can use ventrilo server!

 

This is a very simple guide, try making a guide which explains everything such as binds and such.

 

If more people request it, then I will. But I dont think many people even have Vent so they would have to spend some time even after reading my guide to do some more difficult stuff.
